Just breathing - Reflection

It is paradoxical that most people in the moments when life becomes more complicated have a tendency to collapse, is when they have more confrontations with others, and end up not finding solutions, thinking that "life is against" or similar phrases, which end up making chaos prevail in their minds, and the situation in general becomes more complicated.

For a long time now I have been trying to cultivate the process of conscious breathing, and I must say that the results I have noticed in me are beneficial. Yes, I know that we always breathe, and it is true, we do it autonomously, but in this act that our body naturally performs to stay alive, there are great secrets that cost us nothing and are worth a lot.

The biological reason for breathing in the human being is that the body needs oxygen to produce energy, the same that is used at the metabolic level for vital functions, we do not realize the thousands of actions that happen in our body, but chemically we are very complex, and I do not intend to make a science post, not at this time, I just wanted to mention the biological importance of breathing.

However, beyond that unconscious act, if we use it to our advantage on a constant basis we can get many benefits. I started the post talking about when we are in those moments of our life when it seems that everything is conspiring against us, when we see no way out, just by breathing we can start to see things better and also avoid many problems.

I often walk in a space with a lot of green, because I even know that psychologically green and blue can calm the mind, but the truth is that I walk and while I do it I breathe deeply, aware of what I do, of the air entering my body, and after a few minutes my mind is calm, and allows me to see things better and find solutions, if there are any.

And not only that, but by distancing myself from the situation that has produced that feeling of discomfort, of destabilization, I avoid confrontations with people, because many times even unintentionally- we have the possibility of responding badly to someone and making the situation worse.

I do not believe that the world is against me, I have never thought about it, but I know that it can be a constant thought of many people, and the truth seems to me even absurd that degree of egocentrism to think that a planet is only and exclusively pending of a single person, maybe I am wrong, but I do not believe it, not in this case.

Anyway, what I want to highlight from all this is that we have at hand something we can do to avoid major problems, not only with our immediate environment but in our body, just by breathing, distancing ourselves a little from that situation that overwhelms us at a moment, we can give ourselves the possibility to evaluate and restart with a better foot on the path we have decided to continue.
