Solo's weekly picks: Repairs

in Palnet11 months ago

It feels great to fix something yourself. Once you have done it, knowing you can tackle that problem again is a good feeling. Sometimes we happen to take pictures of video while we do a repair. This week I looked for posts by Hive plankton and minnows showing their own repairs.

Here are five Hive plankton and minnows showing off their repair posts:

Esp/Eng Repairing my mountain bike/Reparando mi bicicleta montañera. By @elfino28

His old bicycle was in need of some repairs, it was placed to the side for awhile as he had an electric bike to ride around on. But now he got to repairing his old one. It needed a new chain and a tire patch. Good to see he got it all fixed.

Going out with their dog for a ride they noticed their electric skateboard needed a repair. They got it all fixed with some jb weld. And got the dog washed while out and about.

Over time the hoses under the hood of cars can get old and need replacement. In this post they figure out which ones need some work done and they got to repairing it.

The caliper piston of my Optra car is stuck, Is it the ABS? / Se queda trabado el pistón del caliper de mi carro Optra, ¿Será el ABS? By @oscarcede

Replacing brake components on cars is something that will be needed over time. In this post they take apart the calipers to find the parts inside causing the braking to be rough. With the right repairs now it is all smooth.

DIY ~ Maintain your own shaving machine! ~ [ENG|ESP] by @franzzonline

If you can maintain something chances are it will not break, or as much at least. So in this post we check out some maintenance done on a electric shaver. Doing this will help the parts last longer and will not need repair as soon.

That's my five picks for this week, come back next week to see
Solo's next weekly picks. I curate posts every Tuesday and do this through MSP. Thanks so much to the Minnow Support Group for giving me the opportunity to serve as a curator!
