Solo's weekly picks: Restaurants

in Palnetlast year

Sometimes we are just too tired to cook, and its nice to be treated to a nice meal without putting all the work into it. Other times people just want something new and maybe they cannot make what they find at their local restaurants. Whatever the reason is, dining out can be a treat. We will check out a pastry shop and local restaurant in the Philippines, a local eating spot in Indonesia and a Georgian style restaurant in Ukraine.

This week I take a look at some posts about people eating at their local spots, so here are five Hive plankton and minnows talking about dining out:

Lunch With My Friends In Geprek Chicken by @nurfay

https://peakd.com/hive-120586/@nurfay/lunch-with-my-friends-in-geprek-chicken

While taking a break from work, some coworkers all go together to find something to eat. They enjoy a chicken recipe. I am always amazed the cost of food around the world. In this post they pay $0.64 for fried chicken in Indonesia.. amazing. Well hope it was all tasty.

Capitancillo Cafe & Restaurant | A Taste Into Their Mouthwatering Dishes! By @indayclara

Visiting a restaurant in the Philippines, at first sight it did not look like a place you eat. But upon entering the building you could tell it was a local spot where everyone gathered.

Middle Eastern food is seriously the best! - 10282022 by @mizuosemla

Without the energy to cook their own meal, they decide to go out and get a bite to eat. Being recently paid helped with this and they got some tasty middle eastern food along with a beer at the end.

Маленькі джигіти в новій ресторації / Little jigits in the new restaurant (Ua-En) by @mellanna

Normally they would visit a coffee shop, but with kids in tow they wanted to get more to eat. Visiting a Georgian style restaurant they had something new. Loved the hats!

A Hearty Brunch at Missy Bon Bon | My Last Day at Cagayan de Oro City by @glecerioberto

Visiting a Philippine bakery they check out all that the shop has to offer. Some were healthy looking (for a dessert). And finally they picked out what they wanted to try.

Saw some tasty food people ate this week, myself I had some tasty Mexican food recently so I too dined out.

Thats my five picks for this week, come back next week to see Solo's next weekly picks. I curate posts every Tuesday and do this through MSP. Thanks so much to the Minnow Support Group for giving me the opportunity to serve as a curator!

I believe my trip to Indonesia will be quite pleasant, and I'll save money on food. It's amazing to think about purchasing fried chicken for $0.64. I'll have enough chicken to eat.

Which native dish did you eat in the Philippines and what was its name? I think the food looks amazing and will be good.
I appreciate your fantastic post, I enjoyed it.

It sure is amazing, every time I hear what other people pay for things around the world is quite surprising.

I really like Chicken Adobo, soaking it in marinade makes it so tasty.

Glad you liked it, thanks for the comment.

You made me hungry, the food looks so good.

Hehe yeah bud, it sure does.

Terimakasih telah memilih postingan saya @solominer.

You are very welcome, glad to select it.

Wow! Thank you for the feature and the support. 🤩

Ah no problem

Dear @solominer , both the meals and the restaurants shown in the publication look very good. Precisely one of my weaknesses is to visit the places of the few countries visited like Argentina, Colombia, Brazil and Cuba is to visit their restaurants and compare their food, especially the typical ones, with those of Venezuela. successes

They sure are, every time I do a food curation post I get jealous of what others are eating. Around where I live now I would have to make it. And luckily many of these posts have recipes so I could do it for sure.

That is great you have got to explore restaurants around South America. I have never left the US, but I most say eating southern cooked food from "hole in the wall" type restaurants have been some of most tasty food I have ever eaten.

That is very true, the best thing is not only to perceive tastes and flavors of food from our region, because in the world there are too many varieties and appetizing foods. successes

Friend @solominer it will be very good to go to Indonesia, especially for the value of cooked chicken at $0.64, it is a bargain, here in Venezuela such food has a minimum value of $12 dollars, in the case of a medium pizza $7 dollars, I missed having That being said, our food costs are very high. successes

Yeah it is quite surprising. The same around where I live, most meals start around $10.

Hopefully your food prices drop when your currency stabilizes. Hope crypto is helping you with that.

Certainly everything is expensive here in Venezuela and what we earn as pensioners is very negligible, it is not even enough to eat, on the other hand, despite the fact that the profits in Hive are low, at least they are enough for some medicines, let's hope that everything improves, at least in December. successes

I was wondering what to make today and since you mentioned Mexican food this is now stuck in my brain lol. Thanks for the recommendation, I haven't had any in far too long.

Hehe nice, well hope it came out good. I have been craving Mexican as well recently...lol
