Solo’s weekly picks: Waterfalls

in Palnet2 years ago (edited)

Getting the chance visit these special water features out in nature is quite amazing. The sound of it in person, along with the smell and just the sight of it is all something to experience. This week I found some posts showing off waterfalls that they found. We check out one in Canada, Indonesia, Iceland, Vietnam and Michigan in the United States.

Here are five Hive plankton and minnows showing off waterfall content:

Dak Ke Waterfall - A sleeping fairy in the forest of Mang Den land by @dodovietnam

Luckily the trip to this specific waterfall was not all that hard. And since its not on many maps, its not a place many people visit. I really liked the boulders at the end of the post.

Traveling over 62 miles (100km) from a small community named Beusa in Aceh, Indonesia they visit a waterfall that is very special to the local community. Since this waterfall is so far from any village not many people visit it and because of that it has kept its natural beauty.

Bjarnarfoss Waterfall by @greddyforce

We check out a snowy waterfall in Iceland, around the end of September so there was fresh snowfall. They captured some great pictures there. Good luck on your trip back Iceland checking out that Volcano.

Alger Falls - Marvelous Michigan by @viking-ventures

Here we see a waterfall in the Northeastern part of the United States in the area of Munising, Michigan. It is more impressive when it rains, but still a nice sight.

Felkers Waterfall by @terrywayne

Visiting a waterfall in Canada, near the east side of Hamilton Ontario. During their visit the flow was not all that impressive but it was still nice seeing the rock wall where the water tends to fall during a good rain.

It was great checking out waterfalls all around the world. I am quite excited to be moving to a new place in a few months. I can check out all new waterfalls around me, visiting a few in Georgia were great and looking forward to seeing many more of the in the South.

Thats my five picks for this week, come back next week to see Solo's next weekly picks. I curate posts every Tuesday and do this through MSP. Thanks so much to the Minnow Support Group for giving me the opportunity to serve as a curator!

I haven't see one in real life, i only watch in movies, and friends of mine that live close, tells me the whole experience.

I hope one day you get to see one in real life.. its better in person

Thank you for sharing, really lovely pictures. =)
