HIVE POWER UP DAY , OMG IS IN FULL PROGRESS, SO MANY OF YOU JOINED, SO NOW ITS MY TURN

Its a normal thing for me and I have done som many SPUD’s on Steemit and now the HIVEPUD’s and although I DON’T qualify because of my rep and the amount of hp, I think its a great example and I want to do it for our redfishralliers of the @theterminal REDFISHRALLY aswell. I have talked to @streetstyle about lowering the rules and that is why I love @traciyork took up the baton last month and I am very glad to so may hive pud blog already.

Powering up is a action of moving liquid hive to hive power (HP) in your wallet. There are a number of scenarios where this powering up process can take place. Some users prefer to purchase liquid Hive through a cryptocurrency exchange and then “Power Up” once it arrives integriteit wallet. Users can also convert their hard earned Hive into hive power through the internal marketplace to then transfer into HIVEPOWER. This process of placing Hive into Hive Power is the ‘staking’ part of Hive’s Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) blockchain protocol. Be sure to have the 50%/50% option so you always have some liquid hive to power up.

Yes this way you will become a trusted representative of Hive. This is one of the less explained and less apparent social benefits of powering up all thats in your account. The power and value of Hive for the whole platform goes up as more Hive bee’s stake their holdings, also there is a lot of community appreciation given to people who are committed holders of the coin. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t power down or transfer our liquid currency when you need to, we see a lot of Hive Bee’s in the terminal that need the liquid hive for daily life. But staking a noticeable portion of your crypto as Hive Power is a well-respected step on the Hive platform. So please reconsider placing a piece of what you hold to join in the HIVE PUDDING MOVEMENT. That way, because of the new rules set by @traciyork will give you the opportunity to get a nice delegation or win some hive, and after the 1st of July you have 28 days to work up a new amount again to use for daily life. But again its totally voluntary, even if you power up 25 hive, it will help. So always

Remember that Hive Backed Dollars (HBD) take 3 days to convert to Hive Tokens, which than can be powered up so so that before Saturday to be in time.

I know I don’t qualify due to high reputatioN and to much hivepower,but again like I said I want to set a good example and help. And all the power I gained is also a proof of all the hard work I did the past 2,5 years. Back to the prizes and ruleS. In chatting with @brittandjosie throught all this, who is part of the awesome team behind @theterminal's Redfish Rally initiative (which helps new accounts grow), she mentioned she'd asked Street before he disappeared if he'd consider lowering the minimum Hive Power requirement from 300HP to 100HP. Since I can't think of a good reason to say no..... We as staff of the Terminal account and discord say thank you.

In addition, She decided to drop the requirement for posting about Hive Power Up Day. ( THIS IS FO RTHE REDFISRALLIERS FOR THE TERMINAL SUMMER RALLY.
You have to do it : twice !

• once on the day.
  And as all the ralliers who have been in the REDFISHRALLY before we do these two blogs as assignments the last week.

Rules to Win Prizes for HIVE-PUD, taken from the blog and copied here.
Again, in Street's own words (with the new changes edited in)

• MUST have a reputation score BELOW 70.00 ( so 69.99 is good & Can participate.) AND more than 100 HIVE POWER (prior to HivePUD) BUT LESS than 8000 HIVE Power.

• MUST have a reputation score of 39 & ABOVE (so rank of 38.99 will Not Win)

• MUST Power Up HIVE COIN on JULY 1st, 2020

• MUST make a post about your POWER UP on JULY 1st with the tag HivePUD . It can be as simple as "I powered up X amount of HIVE COIN" to a simple picture/screenshot of your Power Up and posted to your HIVE blog, or it could be a super long dissertation on HIVE Power. IMPORTANT:use HivePUD hash tag so that She can be sure to see the blog

The winners MUST meet all 4 requirements , and it will be based on the Biggest HIVE Power Up PERCENTAGE, not the biggest Power Up. This means that it will be based on the ratio between your current amount of HIVE Power and the amount you power up on JULY 1st.

For Example:

If you have 1000 HIVE Power already powered up prior to JULY 1, and on JULY 1 you complete steps 1-5 with a 100 HIVE Power Up,
And another HIVE member has 300 HIVE Powered up prior to JULY 1, and on JULY 1st Powers Up 60 HIVE Coin, then this 2nd user would be winning with a 20% power up versus the first example with a bigger power up but smaller percentage of only 10% based on their account.
