What's buzzing, friends?

Greatness is an elusive thing, often slipping right past us as we go about our daily lives. We may not recognize it when we first see it, but more often than not, greatness is there in plain sight. It's only when we look back and take the time to appreciate the small moments, the little successes, and the people that have helped us along the way that we realize how much greatness has been a part of our lives all along. Every day, we have the potential to be great, to make a difference, to bring joy and inspiration to ourselves, and to those around us. And even if we don't realize it, greatness is always there, ready to be embraced. Take the story of when Prince opened for the Roling Stones.

A relatively unknown artist by the name of Prince opened for the Rolling Stones on their record-breaking 1981 tour. At the time, the audience was unaware of the immense talent this young artist was about to unleash on the world. Little did they know that this shy, introverted performer would one day become a global legend - but it was not to be that day. As Prince took to the stage, the crowd jeered and booed, almost as if they knew that this was not the show they had been promised. But Prince persevered, determined to show the world what he was made of. Little did he know that shortly after this tour, he would become a world-renowned icon, with his songs and albums selling millions.

Sometimes you have to wonder about how those who overlooked greatness must feel, when they suddenly realize they had the privilege of being witness to a truly magical moment, and they failed to recognize it at the time? How much regret they must experience, how much anguish they must feel, knowing that they were so close to something beautiful and special, only to be denied it by their own obtuseness? How must their hearts ache, how must their minds race, searching for ways to turn back the clock and take back the chance they were so foolishly unaware of? It is truly a tragic thing, to be so close to greatness and yet be so far away.
