Mushrooming around the villa.
Warning! Gathering mushrooms can be extremely dangerous. There be deadly poisonous ones posing as edible. Some mushrooms are not safe even to touch or breathe in their spores.
This is no guide or tutorial of any kind. Just sharing personal experience.
I am going to try and translate a few mushroom names but that is no expert-sourced information. It is just like...my opinion, people.
I wanted to share the diversity (of four species, one of them not on the pictures) of what we found during a single afternoon, and that's that.
I'll just try to find translations of the names that I know.
We hiked towards a meadow in the forest in order to practice some archery, of which I made a report a few days ago. But here and there, we were waylaid by sprouting ambushers of the mushroom persuasion. Not totally random for us, actually, since we were prepared. You know...forest...rains...stuff.
A kind of Boletus (Suillus Luteus) that obviously has the Slippery Jack nickname.
Масловка in Bulgarian.
Parasol Mushroom (Macrolepiota Procera)
Сърнела in Bulgarian.
Cep (Boletus Edulis). Obviously, of the same Genus as the Slippery Jack on top.
Манатарка in Bulgarian.
The one you can't see here is...
Well, a small brown thing that grows in numbers closely stacked. I can't even find its translation. I wouldn't pick it myself since I am not familiar enough with it.
Oh, also, Mushroom in Bulgarian is Гъба (pronounced Guhba or something like that). It is also the word for Sponge. I bet you can see the similarities between sponges and fungi.

My grandpa will call us almost every morning to go and pick some Манатарка ;)
