Thanks for this second part and another entry into the posting initiative. I like how you take us along on your trip plus provide some back story and information along the way. A great, informative, post well-written and presented.

I love trips like this and have done many here in Australia and they never fail to provide me a wealth of knowledge and a feeling of connection with my country and the planet.

Whenever I research a project or trip this is the detail I'd like to find. For this reason I try to hit the points that are important for decision making and planning.

If the route I took doesn't offer what another wants to experience, they get enough detail to know that and can plan for another route.

And...since Hive is also Social media, there needs to be a personal connection to the topic in the article. At least in my opinion.😀

We love the planning phase; I makes us feel the trip has begun already and extends the enjoyment. Having something to look forward to is a great motivator.

Personal connection...That's why personality is one of my three criteria when. I'm curating here, not just for this posting initiative, but all the time. I don't always need to see all three combined, but when I do I smile and nod knowingly as I understand that I'm reading a post from someone who gets it.

An awesome and extensive report, thanks for sharing! I am quite the fan of the wilderness. Nothing bad about some badlands.

The critter might be some kind of American Capricorn, not quite the Alpine kind but it looks similar in its white but, tough terrain proficiency, and goatlike head. Or it might be more towards the Wild Rams but still...I would go with Goat/Capricorn. I am writing this without researching if Capricorns are even met on that continent, so... bear with my amateurish guess, please.

Cheers!

I'm not sure if Long Horn Sheep are called Capricorns elsewhere, but they certainly have the telltale curved horn just like the zodiac sign.

I wasn't close enough to see the horns when taking the photo's and hadn't expanded the image until after drafting this article, so wasn't sure. I thought it didn't have horns, so figured it was a doe from a deer species.

Thank you for visiting and engaging with me and my article. It's a pleasure to meet you.😀

Ah, I think you're right about that species being native there. I've seen them mentioned in fiction. The zodiac sign is more like the subspecies from Central Europe, the Alps.
