Hive at the right time.

We are all witnessing a crypto revolution. We means, the people like you and me who are using the platform HIVE to publish our own content for free and also earning from it without any pre-ordained conditions or hurdles and that means there is no limit for payout period or anyone dictating what I should write or not write.

I am free to write what I like and publish it when I choose to.

What

What made me migrate to Hive after the fork?

A group of people who became my friends and with whom I spend most of my time online - Of course, I would choose to remain faithful to them and go wherever they choose to go even if it meant deserting a platform which had become very dear to me over the years and as all know, lack of freedom is not a very pleasant situation and if we had chosen to remain with steemit and related apps, it would have meant that we were bowing to dirty games, cheat, fraud and what not.
Hive is a platform where you need never fear about your funds being stolen or thwarted by a person who thinks its alright to do so.

Why

I like to write. That is why I started blogging way back in the year 2010. I have written for several sites like Triond, Expertscolumn, Squidoo, Hubpages, Factoidz(Knoji), Helium but none of them survived the pressure of centralization and even though Hub pages is still around, the earnings people make from that platform and the strict guidelines make one cringe because having tasted the freedom of Hive, no one would prefer to bow down to such rules and regulations.
Rules are essential but it shouldn't squeeze out the creativity of a person.

Hive is a perfectly fine place for people like me to express their thoughts, emotions, creativity, and words without any restrictions other than the ones imposed by self.

Who

A lot of people have supported me along the way and made me feel at home. If I start mentioning them, then there would be a lot of tags and I do not like to tag people unnecessarily but I would like to mention users like @sathysankar @bala41288 @indiaunited members, the Neoxian discord members @bdcommunity members It is with regret that I say about a few friends whom I had invited over left because they did not feel comfortable about crypto but I do hope they will return when crypto is made legal, one day and then they will regret not having come aboard earlier.

Where

I usually use the https://www.neoxian.city/ to post but sometimes use the other communities like @bdcommunity, Picture a day, Amazing nature, Mancave, the hive.blog page to post. I have used Peakd a few times and I am not new to it.

When

I included the When because I felt it was necessary to complete the five.
I live on a farmhouse and spend my free time writing on Hive or playing splinterlands which is my latest addiction.

Working on Hive

Writing is a way to remove stress and so is Splinterlands. So, I spend my time online only on Hive and Splinterlands site and not on other sites like Facebook or Quora because these no longer hold any meaning for me.

How

As a journalist, I was taught that the newspaper column should answer the five W's and the H.

where, when, what, who, why and how

So, How come I came to work online?

My sister in law was impressed that I wrote stories and poems and she suggested that I learn how to use a computer and start working online and this was in the year 2005. I did learn the basics of Microsoft Word but the internet availability was very limited in our village and it took me another five years to finally discover the magic of the internet.

Above all, I would like to thank the Almighty because whenever I felt sad or depressed, I would come across a phrase mentioning that - You will be exalted in due time and it came out so true. The friends I made online and the recognition I got has given me more than I ever wished for and I am grateful for that.
