In the fourth part of the series about my entry into mushroom photography, I show two more motifs that I made a few days ago. I've already written several times about the technique and equipment, now I'm concentrating on the composition and the results. Have fun!

Im vierten Teil der Serie über meinen Einstieg in die Pilzfotographie zeige ich zwei weitere Motive die ich vor ein paar Tagen gemacht habe. Über die Technik und Ausrüstung habe ich bereits mehrfach geschrieben jetzt konzentriere ich mich auf die Komposition und die Resultate. Viel Freude!

Motiv 1

My first masterpiece in my eyes. I can see all goals as achieved: sharpness and blurring, color contrasts, lighting effects, surroundings. The composition has the illuminated mushroom head as the main motif. The moss seems to come out of the picture in front and blur in the background.

Mein erstes Meisterwerk in meinen Augen. Alle Ziele kann ich hier als erreicht ansehen: Schärfe und Unschärfe, Farbkontraste, Lichteffekte, Umgebung. Die Komposition hat den durchleuchteten Pilzkopf als Hauptmotiv. Das Moos scheint förmlich vorne aus dem Bild herauszukommen und verschwimmt im Hintergrund.

Motiv 2

The second motif also appears to be very successful. The composition is, however, a bit too centered and so the picture seems a bit restless, this could be remedied by suitable cropping, but that's not necessarily my goal. Another point of criticism is the foreground branch. Unfortunately, I didn't look at the picture long enough on the spot and just removed the branch. For me, this results in an even closer look at the composition with possible small changes in the future.

Das zweite Motiv erscheint ebenfalls als sehr gelungen. Die Komposition ist allerdings etwas zu zentriert und damit wirkt das Bild etwas unruhig, durch geeigneten Zuschnitt ließe sich das beheben, das ist aber nicht unbedingt mein Ziel. Ein weiterer Punkt der Kritik ist der Zweig im Vordergrund. Leider habe ich an Ort und Stelle das Bild nicht lange genug betrachtet und den Zweig einfach entfernt. Daraus folgt für mich eine noch genauere Betrachtung der Komposition in der Zukunft mit eventuellen kleinen Änderungen.
