January dark pinup à la carte!

I’m settling in for a nightly blog reflecting on some blockchain empowerment. The day was busy, and I made it to kickboxing, which is always the serotonin shot I look forward to throughout the week. After that, I made my way to @caffetto and met with @swarddraws. He’s been on Hive for years and has been a great contributor to the network. Tonight, I walked him through the process of sending his post rewards through @blocktrades and ultimately, how to load a Paypal card with actual money. The complete circle that makes Hive so life changing. Also, he gifted me a set of Bernie Wrightston collectible cards, which was a nice surprise. They made my night.

I’m sharing a selection of new work. One photo from three separate shoots from Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The first image is of Cervena Fox and this is the first time I’ve posted it anywhere on the web. Cervena and I have shoot together three or four times now, which is ironic. Previously, before the pandemic, we missed each other in every city by just a couple of days. Since COVID, we’ve managed to see each other in Vegas twice and Ohio. This shoot was a quick 45 minutes at Cervena’s home. We both had obligations for that evening and we knocked out some of the best photos we’ve taken to date.

This next image is of Lynh, co-founder of La Femme En Noir. I was introduced to Lynh is 2018 by my friend Micheline Pitt. They were friends since high school and after Micheline a well known pinup boutique in Burbank, she and Lynh started La Femme En Noir together. Our first shoot was that same year when Lynh modeled several of the new brand’s first gowns and dresses. We’ve remained friends since. She recently just beat cancer and this was her first time in front of the camera since that momentum victory. There are a lot of images still to come with Lynh and Micheline.

The final edit for tonight is of my dear friend Cindy. This was the shoot I looked most forward to during my entire trip. Cindy had a tough two years through COVID. She lost friends and family members, and I was hoping this shoot would be a rejuvenating experience for her. We met at our mutual friend Analisa’s. I walked in just as they were finishing hair and make-up. We drove to Culver City and checked in at the Culver Hotel. The shoot was my favorite with her to date. We got to catch up and split our time shooting and enjoying one another’s company. Perfect night!
