low tide at sunset on Arawali beach in Vengurla, Maharashtra, India is an ideal place for an evening walk or some yoga. the wide and flat beach is 4.5 km long so apart from near the parking area there is plenty of space for those wanting to be alone with the 5 elements earth, water, fire, air and space. winters are dry so the sky is often cloudless. anyone witnessing the sun touching the horizon and slowly sinking below it feels the magic of the moment.
the above photo taken with my Lumix FZ300 with automatic settings is my entry. but if you rotate the image 180 degrees it takes on an otherworldly dimension
