How I think about my Art is How I think about Myself

I really feel like writing today (haven't done it in a few days), so this is gonna be a little diary post, just to write down what's on my mind lately :)

And because it's raining here for three days straight now, I'm gonna share with you some summer sunshine pictures I took years ago at home in Northern Germany :)

Actually I don't mind the weather at all. In fact, it is quite a good excuse to stay inside and work on my art all day ^^

Since I've learned about NFT's through NFT-Showroom this whole art thing got a lot more serious for me (in a good way!). I finally found something that I want to do, that I really want to get better at!
And I'm so happy about that!
I never had a feeling like that in any of the (many) jobs I had!

So this is what I'm doing and permanently thinking about right now ^^ And I'm learning a lot about myself while facing all the different challenges on this journey.

I was a bit down the last days and struggled with self doubts again, that show up every now and then.
Self doubting is actually one of the big topics in my life, something I struggle with almost as long as I can think.
And it feels like my journey as an artist and everything that comes with it right now is a great chance to look deeper into those feelings and fears.

My art is a big part of what I am, so how I think about my art is how I think about myself.

With every time I overcome a phase of struggle and self doubt I get stronger and more confident. Not only with my art, but in general.

This also affects the way I talk about my art and how I present myself in public, which seems to be quite important nowadays as an artist.

I love my art, I find it funny, amusing and it makes me super happy!
So this is what I want to share with people and right now I'm learning how to do that.

Although it's tough sometimes, I'm grateful for all the opportunities for learning and self-development <3
Life is such an exciting journey!

Oh, and I wanted to tell you something exciting!
There will be a collaboration artwork between me and the one and only @richardfyates!!
I had an idea for a painting and asked him to add his totally awesome and funny style to it. And of course it turned out super cool!
So this will happen sometime soon on NFT-Showroom :-)

Alright, that's it for today. Thanks a lot for reading <3

Awesome to read this. You sure seem to have leveled up! I can easily relate to this and I think many of us, especially ( sensitive ) creatives. I have been a struggling creative and human being for a long, long time but I finally start to see the lessons in it all, as well as the fact that there’s another side to everything ( we can always change perspective and focus on what we can control, instead of act as if everything is happening to us and we can’t help it ).

Looking forward to checking out that collab with @richardfyates !

Big 🤗

I definitely feel like leveling up right now! Every opportunity I get and every challenge I face seems to be an offer to develop myself, to get stronger in what I do and what I am, and to be more happy in the long run.
The ability to change perspective is one of the most important things to learn, I think. We can always decide how to feel about something, it just depends on how we look at it. It's not easy, but like everything else, it's a matter of practice ^^ And it gets easier by the time.

Yes! I'm so looking forward to sharing it, too! Richard is a genius and he turned my little painting in the most fun artwork!
But we wait for the auction feature on NFT-Showroom. I don't want to decide about a price for this ^^ It's priceless!

I feel you! From my food art, I learn a lot every day and make my mental better. I feel happy to share my work. Suprised thing, when I busy with my work, it's kinda healing all my pain in my soul :)

Yeah, exactly that! It feels so good to share the things I really like doing. I've grown so much since I'm sharing for example my art here on Hive <3

I've just seen that you're the one curating for OCD! Thank you sooo much for your support, that means a lot to me <3<3<3
