Summer is just past out and rainy days are coming, the rainy season as we know comes together with some common colds and cough that we experience, thats why we have this kind of plant natural medicine for my family and neighbors too, it is very easy to grow, it can grow on the ground and in the plant pot. Here are some ways to make a Oregano Leaves use for natural medecine for common coughs.

1. Pick some fresh oregano leaves, clean it with running water only to remove some dust and other particles in the leaves.

2. Steam the leaves, i do it in our cooked rice called "salab" before rice will be fully cooked put it in the top with a small plate, i learned it from my grandmother, to saved some gas and time, but you can do it also in some steamer.

3 Cover for 2 to 3 minutes, then remove the oregano leaves and let it cool for a while.

4. Crush the oregano leaves till you see some green juice, you can do it also by squeezing, put the leaves on the plastic and smash it with rolling pin.

5. Filter it by a cloth and place it in a jar refrigirate and consumed within day.

6. Since some child can't take it because of its taste and smell, put a honey to it, honey can add some sweet taste and also add some healing benefits. Drink 1 table spoon in the morning and at night.

Medecinal Benefits:

Oregano has a anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antibacterial agent, Oregano is believed that can fight coughs, colds, congestion, sinusitis, and digestive issues like diarrhea.

Don't throw the leaves! You can use it for another dish! (^_^)
You can make egg soup using that! Then add a bit of salt and pepper plus "Malunggay"... See! Nice right?!
