Hi hive friends, how was your day? How was your fasting? What menu do you like in these Ramadan?

In these 5th Ramadan, this day is saturday of course, I'm off from work. So I have so many times to me time. Today, I wake up late, at 10:00 am, and I still in my bed until 12:00 pm. I really sleepy but I have sleeping too long. I suddenly thought about my iftar menu. I just have broccoli in my storage.

Then I thought about Plant Power Cooking Challenge | Week #4 | Come Join Us!!.

Even I won't be the winner, I want challenge myself. So I directly prepare the ingredients.

My entry not new creation recipes. I just add the main ingredients so I'm going with my mainstay menu that I used cook. It's really easy but healthy cause nothing other ingredients unless vegetables for vegan lovers.

Let's get it!

The Simple Mushrooms-Broccoli Stir

Ingredients

200 gram of Broccoli
100 gram of white mushroom
5 pieces of green chili
2 pieces of garlic
4 pieces of union
Half of tomato
Sweet soy sauce (substitute sugar)

How to Cook

Step 1

Wash all ingredients till clean. Slice all the ingredients alternately. The things I do first, It's about the main ingredients like mushrooms and broccoli. Then I moving forwards to green chili and union.

There's a reason why do I pick green chili instead red chili. To be honest I don't like spicy and green chili not spicy.

Step 2

Turn the stove with the medium heat. Heat the oil in a frying pan. After that stir the union until withered and fragrant.

If you can smell the fragrant, add the chili and garlic then stir or mix them until withered. The last, add tomato and stir stir it! It's about 1 minutes then add the water.

Nothing wrong with simple, home cooking! Especially with yummy ingredients like mushrooms and broccoli. I don't like too spicy either, so this is perfect for me. 😀

Delicious! This is one of my mainstay recipes as well, but I don't do it with the sauce like that. More dry I guess, and I add a splash of sauce afterwards if I need it. Such a good, healthy recipes!

I love when its flooded 😆

We are not used to eating mushrooms frequently, but it seems various recipes can be prepared with it. Looking delicious!

Broccoli and mushrooms are a wonderful couple. I always have it in my fridge.

Looks delicious!

Thank you...

Hope you are enjoying Ramadan. I definitely wouldn't want to be eating too heavy at night, so I bet this dish works really for Iftar. Fresh mushrooms are hard to find here in Suriname, so your dish is extra exotic to me.
