Cafe Hopping with Me! | Cebu Ph

It was a lovely sunny morning when @indayclara , @ybanezkim26 and I decided to meet up. Our initial plan was to go to Tamp Cafe in Kasambagan, Mandaue City at 9am. I woke up and got ready pretty early since I live far and I have yet to find where Tamp is. I've always wanted to go there with my close friends but we kept postponing. So I was excited to check out Tamp this day!

I arrived at exactly 9am just in time for their opening. When I got in, they'd ask to get my temperature and show my vaccination card if I wanted to dine inside. Most cafes and restaurants here in Cebu would require that but if you don't have any, you can still go to food parks or those with outdoor dining. Better contact them first before going to make sure they aren't strict in checking the vaccination cards.

Since I was too early, there aren't any food yet in their chiller by the counter. 🤣 In the other picture, they have their whole cakes displayed. Some customers would order online or through call and pick it up in the cafe.

I was the only one there so I took advantage of taking pictures. It's one of the instagrammable cafes here in Cebu when you search it on Google. There was a point where it became viral on my social media feed when it first opened because the people were hyped to go there for their instagram shots and also to try out their pastries. I can say most Filipinos are sweet-tooth. There's always desserts on the table after a meal.

The cafe is a 2 story building. The upper floor is a private function room for parties or meetings. I love that there are lots of indoor plants because it really makes the place relaxing and looks so neat. They have charging ports available in all their tables and wifi connection, perfect for those who want to work on their laptops while drinking their iced/hot drinks and munching on their sweet treats.

The waitress was quick to accommodate me, she settled me in a big table with a couch and charging port and patiently waited for me to order. This is their Menu.

Most of the dishes were not available (those covered in tape). Dishes were priced around 6-8 USD while drinks were 2-4 USD which is pretty standard here. After around 15 mins. Kim, Claire and I decided to change cafe last minute. 🤣 But before I left, I ordered Iced French Vanilla for take out. I'd surely come back with my friends to try their cakes and food next time. COFFEE FACTORY _{AS Fortuna, Cebu}

We decided to meet up at Coffee Factory at AS Fortuna, Mandaue. It's a 10-minute ride from Tamp which is near if you want to cafe hop as well. It's a small coffeeshop by the road and has limited parking space. They have tables outside too. People usually stay there at night, drinking their coffee, smoking their cigarettes and chitchatting with each other.

In this cafe, they weren't that strict in looking at vaccination cards or temperature. They only require you to log in their record book for contact tracing purposes. We all arrived with just a few minutes interval. We did some catch up, talking about our "not planning 2022 anymore" plans 🤣 then focused on our laptop for some Hive related activities.
