"Would you like to try a cup of egg coffee?"
I have asked that question to many of my foreign friends, and their first reaction is often skepticism. They thought I was joking or they didn't believe we could combine eggs and coffee together. But after they tried it, they couldn't stop having it.
Origin of egg coffee
Egg coffee is a type of coffee originating in Vietnam, more specifically from Hanoi in the 1950s. Egg coffee was created at a time when fresh milk was an extremely scarce and expensive commodity. But a lot of people really like the cappuccino that was introduced into our country because they couldn't stand the bitterness of the coffee. Stemming from a desire to create a similar coffee but with cheaper and easier-to-find ingredients, Mr. Nguyen Van Giang decided to use egg yolks to replace milk, and since then was egg coffee.

Ingredients
Egg coffee is made from very simple ingredients: fresh eggs, sugar, milk and coffee. The egg yolk is mixed by hand or by a whisk with sugar and milk and then mixed with the coffee. The rich sweetness of eggs and milk combined with the bitter aroma of coffee create an irresistible drink. Egg coffee can be drunk hot or iced depending on the taste of each person, but for the right quality, you should have a cup of hot egg coffee to enjoy the whole rich flavor. This coffee will give you a lot of energy to start a day. I'll make a video to show you how to make this when I have time.

For those who have never tried, it may sound a little strange, how come coffee is mixed with eggs? But as you said above, they will get addicted after tasting it. By the way, I've never tasted it served cold, it looks like it's worth a try.
Oh, at my place someone mixes coffee with duck eggs, the taste is also very delicious, you have to try it ;)
