I have been wanting to try this restaurant ever since it opened last year but because of my busy schedule, it keeps postponing. So this year, I had to make time to bring my friends here because I have heard a lot of good reviews about this restaurant. Just last month, September, I have been to the restaurant twice in a row, well with different sets of friends and that’s how really good their food and customer service were.
According to the humble owner of Pukot Kitchen, they named the restaurant “Pukot” which means net or fishnet because she wanted cohesiveness with the Flying Fish Hostel just right beside the restaurant. Well, I couldn’t agree more, the name itself is catchy and I like the idea of how they came up with the restaurant’s name.
On their menu, they have a wide selection of food and their crowd’s favorite is their Rigatoni Vodka Pasta e Chorizo but unluckily it was sold out when we dine in. So maybe next time, I’ll definitely try it out. Since my first visit was lunchtime and we were kind of hungry, we ordered heavy meals. We tried their two orders of pan-seared salmon and Pukot special for mains, then we just ordered grilled chicken with mango salad. Everything was good and we really enjoyed our food.
Of course I wouldn't miss trying their amaretto sour and mojito.
The place looks inviting especially if you see their little pool outside.
The second time I visit Pukot Kitchen was with my other friends who were after the Happy Hour time because I guarantee you that they served the best Mojito.
We actually finished 22 glasses of Mojito and we ordered another 4 glasses of mango margarita while the boys got themselves local beers. I hope the owner will not regret having us there.
We just ordered some appetizers because we really planned on drinking. We tried their diavola and four-cheese pizza, sizzling sausage, and french fries! Everything tasted so good.
It was really a great experience dining and having our happy hour drinks at Pukot Kitchen. I highly recommend the restaurant because of their great service and the place is pretty much accessible. Just make sure to make your reservations online or text them because the place is always fully-booked.

This restaurant has been open for a while now, not really new. But it's not as famous as other mainstream restaurants which makes it way better. The food here is definitely worth the price one pays. 😋
