Hi Hive Friends,
today I would like to introduce you to my brownie recipe. I've been using the recipe for a few years and have refined it over the years until I found it perfect. You really don't need much, just ingredients that you already have at home anyway :))
You will need these ingredients for the brownies:
- 300g chocolate
- 150g butter
- 300g sugar (but I always use a little less)
- a level teaspoon of vanilla sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 eggs
- 220g flour
Step 1:
Heat the chocolate (I highly recommend dark chocolate) with the butter in a saucepan. Mix the mixture.
Step 2:
Meanwhile, mix all the other ingredients in a bowl.
Step 3:
Once you have both masses ready, mix them together with a mixer.
Step 4:
Then coat a baking tin with margarine and dust with breadcrumbs. Unfortunately, we didn't have a baking tin at the moment, so we improvised a little and poured the finished mixture onto a baking tray with baking paper.
Pour the mixture into the baking dish and heat it in the oven to 180 degrees. Depending on how shallow the dish is, take it out of the oven after 20 or 40 minutes. I always like the brownies to be slightly darker and less firm on the inside, but not runny. What do you think?
I'd love to hear from you if you ever try this recipe. Also, please let me know what you think of the recipe. I once thought about trying the recipe with white chocolate, but I'm still not sure if that's a good idea ;)

Looks so yum! I kinda like that they are thinner than the usual brownie.
Perhaps adding white chocolate nibs? I think I have seen something like that, it should work.
thank you:) yes that's right, it doesn't take that long in the oven and i think it looks nicer too :) white chocolate is a good idea, what are nibs? do you mean chunks?
yep, that's what we call them here, they are shaped like a disk
