Pizzóvalo margherita with tomato salsa, cheese mix, fresh tomatoes and basil at Finca Barcelona

I hope you had a good day. I love going to restaurants and trying out the food there, especially on holiday. Today this post is about one of my favourite restaurants - Finca Barcelona. They are in different places all over Germany and this time we visited the Finca in Essen Steele. I was there with two friends late in the evening, I think it was already 11 o'clock.
Here you can find everything your heart desires - from curry bowls to pizza, pasta, bruschetta, soups, burgers or tapas. I chose the pasta verde basilicum, while my friends ordered a cheeseburger with salad and Pizzóvalo margherita.
What I also found great: The restaurant even has a children's menu, or so we were told.

Here you can see a photo of the Margherita with tomato salsa, finca cheese mix, fresh tomatoes and basil. I tasted a bit and have to say I found it almost tastier than my pasta haha. But I'm sure I'll be able to enjoy it again this month and I'll order it sometime. Sometimes less is more.

This is the main entrance; the exterior and interior are very similar in the different restaurants, but I don't think that's a bad thing at all, because it's smartly done.

Cheese Burger with beef patty with lettuce, cheddar cheese, sliced tomatoes and pickles, and he ordered a Caesar Salad with Caesar dressing, Grana Padano cheese, croutons and Finca bread. My dish wasn't even on the regular menu, I had wondered if they didn't have pasta. But asking the waitress helped: There is a separate pasta menu. Although I had been there many times before, I had never noticed this. But I was able to order the pasta verde basilicum with dried tomatoes, pine nuts, rocket and Grana Padano. My other friend took a Pizzóvalo margherita with tomato salsa, finca cheese mix, fresh tomatoes and basil.

I took a spritzer as a drink, unfortunately I can't remember which spritzer it was. My two friends each took a Coke.

Here you can see two more photos of me - full and happy haha. Admittedly, I love these evenings with friends in the restaurant, where you chat about everything and enjoy the food.

And of course, the cheeseburger can't be missed. To be honest, I have never ordered my own cheeseburger in my life, and I always intend to do so. But the other day I was in a restaurant and ordered a burger for once and had a stomach ache afterwards, so I'm a bit more careful now. But my friend said it tastes very good.

We sat here, it wasn't too busy so it wasn't too noisy and it was a cosy atmosphere.

If so, I'll give you a tip: you can eat here not only for lunch and dinner, but also in the morning, there's a delicious breakfast buffet with freshly squeezed orange juice. You should only make a reservation beforehand because it gets booked up quickly, especially at weekends.
