BLACK RADISH?!?!?!

Yup, at least on the outside.

Most people are familiar with the red radishes. Some may even have seen the ones that are white on the outside as well as the inside. There are, however, other varieties too, like these, that happen to be black on the outside. This was our first year growing them, and these are the Round Black Spanish Radish. When grown in cooler climates, they can get much larger, but we've got some planted now just for fun. Check this thing out!

It was my first time seeing this kind fo black radish!

My first time, too. I'll have to look in to planting some next year.

how is the weather in your area? You can do planting according to the season. ( ^_^ )

The spring weather is fine for planting. I've planted all my garden, already. I might try for a fall crop, though. It's usually too hot to get anything new to grow during the summer months.

Not familiar with this plant RADISH probably not planted in this part of the world Nigeria thank for sharing this papa, love you little pepper

I'm growing white ones for this first time this year. Seeds from Baker Creek!
