Cannelloni with Leftovers - Creative Cooking

Hey foodies, are you feeling creative and hungry today?

Yesterday I made Homemade Meatballs and mentioned that you can make a different meal from leftovers, for example spaghetti.

I decided however to make cannelloni, since I don't make them often. Mainly because I don't know how to make a proper stuffing for them. But this time it was so easy and I was proud that I didn't throw away food and instead made a delicious, cheesy goodness.

I love using this casserole, glass dish whenever I can. It super easy to clean and looks amazing, while the food cooks evenly.

I chopped meatballs from yesterday, and mixed them well with the tomato sauce. With that mixture I stuffed the cannelloni and lined them up in the dish. It's perfect how they fit! It's a relaxing moment for my OCD personality :)

After that I remembered that I have a jar of white sauce in the fridge, with cheese and bacon, so I added that too, before I grated a ton of cheese over it. You cant go wrong with cheese when baking.

In the oven it goes, for 30 minutes on 180c degrees. It should be nice and golden, but cannelloni are not cooked before baking, so they have to cook also without the dish burning.

Oh, I love the stretching of cheese in every recipe video I see on line, it makes my mouth water :)

Give it a chance to cool down a bit, or to rest as my mother would say, so you can get a whole piece from the dish without it spilling it all over your plate. Guess how I know that.

P.S. The fork and the knife are a piece of set my mother got for her wedding and I am in love with the details!
