Mittlerweile habe ich eine zweite 4K Blu-Ray in meiner Kollektion. Konnte nicht widerstehen (Steelbook, Limited Edition), die neue Prequel Serie von Game of Thrones "House of the Dragon".
House of Dragon spielt 200 Jahre vor den Ereignissen von Game of Thrones und hat neue Charaktere und Schauspieler.
Auf imdb (8.5/10) ist die Bewertung ganz gut, aber auf Amazon sagen manche User es kommt nicht ganz an das Original heran.
Auch Sex-Szenen sind angeblich heruntergeschraubt worden und es soll mehr Wert auf Political Correctness gelegt worden sein als das noch bei der ursprünglichen älteren Game of Thrones Serie (vor allem bei den ersten Staffeln) der Fall war 🙈
Vom Prequel soll es 3-4 Staffeln geben, bin gespannt, wie es ist, hat es schon jemand gesehen? Was sagt ihr zum Prequel?
ps. Nächstes Jahr soll es übrigens auch HBO Max in der EU geben. Dann könnte man die Serie vielleicht auch streamen. HBO Max ist derzeit in der ganzen EU nicht verfügbar.

Meanwhile, I have a second 4K Blu-Ray in my collection. Couldn't resist to collect the new prequel series of Game of Thrones "House of the Dragon".
House of Dragon is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones and has new characters and actors.
On imdb (8.5/10) the rating is quite good, but on Amazon some users say it doesn't quite come close to the original.
Also, sex scenes have allegedly been scaled down and more emphasis has been placed on political correctness than was the case with the original older Game of Thrones series (especially in the first few seasons).
There are supposed to be 3-4 seasons of the prequel, am curious to see how it is, has anyone seen it yet? What do think about the prequel?
ps. Next year, by the way, there should also be HBO Max in the EU. Then it will be possible to stream the series as well. HBO Max is currently not available in the entire European Union.

Habe gemischte Reaktionen zu House of the Dragon gehört.
Die einen finden es wirklich gut, die anderen halten es für viel zu woke.
Ich habe es mir allerdings nicht selber angeschaut, da ich auch Game of Thrones nicht gesehen habe, und zwar nur aus dem Grund, dass die Schauspieler nicht meinen Vorstellungen von den Charakteren entsprechen, die ich mir selber im Kopf gemacht habe, als ich die Bücher gelesen habe. 😂
Tyrion war einfach nicht hässlich genug... 😂
PS: Auch wenn ich gestern etwas anderes behauptet habe, ist mir doch eingefallen, dass ich eine einzige Blue Ray besitze, die ich nur gekauft habe, um sie bei einem Freund zu schauen.^^
Und zwar war dies Dark Planet, die Verfilmung des Strugatzki Buches Die Bewohnte Insel. Bei dem Film muss man allerdings die 4 Stunden Version schauen, da man die 2 Stunden Version nur versteht, wenn man das Buch gelesen hat. 😂

Bin schon gespannt, wie das Prequel ist, aber muss vorher noch Game of Thrones fertig schauen. Das mit den Büchern ist immer das Problem, wenn man vorher das Buch gelesen hat, dann hat man gewisse Erwartungen, die ein Film einfach nicht erfüllen kann. Man muss den Film bzw. die Serie dann eher als eigenständiges Werk sehen und der Umsetzung eine Chance geben.

Ich fand es auch ganz ok, zumindest habe ich nicht mitten in der staffel abgebrochen, was auch schon mal passiert ist. 😉
Ans original kommt es halt nicht ganz ran, wobei da die letzte staffel auch schon nachgelassen hat, meiner meinung nach.

Das ist auf meiner Watchlist, aber nicht um 28,99€ die Staffel. Da warte ich, bis es das günstiger gibt - läuft mir ja nicht davon. Derzeit schaue ich "Carnival Row", ist auch ganz gut!
Die Frage ist was schneller ist, die steigende Inflation oder die fallenden Blu-Ray-Preise 😂

8.5 rating is an amazing rating, i should watch it too.
I hate the censorship they do on things now whether they are in games or movies. I just think that it's better when it's what we see from the original source material.
I haven't seen it so I can't really say anything about it.
To be honest the prequel disappointed me.
I don't know why I still haven't seen Game of Thrones. I should find a way to do so.
I wouldn't know how this sequel is since I haven't seen any yet. I guess you'll have to go first and tell us all about it later on 😉
