Good day Deep Divers, Diggers and Researchers!

Today, @deepdives would like to share some incredible resources with you that can help make your research experience more accurate, comprehensive, on-target and rewarding.

Certainly, this collection of resources is by NO MEANS a complete list, there are plenty more out there to discover and employ.

In fact, we encourage any and all members of the Deep Dives Community to add to this list any invaluable archives, databases and resources you believe every DIY investigative researcher should have in their toolbox.
Feel free to add links to your favorites in the comment section.

It's only right to begin by encouraging diggers to be cautious and to be safe while conducting research.

We highly recommend starting off by viewing the Electronic Frontier Foundations's - Surveillance Self-Defense - Guide and also Privacy and Security checklist and making sure that you are regularly using Virtual Private Networks as best practice.

FYI - @deepdives plans on providing periodical updated versions of Research Resources
Members of the Community are ENCOURAGED to SHARE their methods, favorite tools and "How To" tutorials in their own posts!!!

Sort:

I would add to this list BiorXiv, ResearchGate, PLoS, and various journals, some of which presently are making papers regarding SARS-CoV-2 free to the public, such as The Lancet. Many of the lies and BS promulgated by the enemedia can be refuted by reading the scientific papers for yourself.

I also assume researchers like @stevescoins would like to see this list.

Thanks!

THIS IS AMAAAAZING !!!
THANKS 🙏 for the resources!!

Thanks that's a great addition!

I have thousands more to add, eventually. Pardon my slothiness.

I’m preparing a text on how to search for truth on the Internet, and this is an excellent set of tools I will gladly share in it. Thank you very much @deepdives.

Great to hear!
What better way to support researchers and our community than by sharing resources, crowd sourcing information and engaging in dialog!

Please let us know if you have anything to add to the list. There's an ocean of information out there and here we simply tried to provide some of the most useful and indispensable collections.
Cheers!

When I finish it, everything will be published first in the Deep Dives Community :)

thank you so much for putting this together: https://concen.org/ is another necessary resource for torrents and http://libgen.is/ for books.

protonmail is not safe
protonvpn probably also

swiss sadly evolved to a full blown surveillance state

veracrypt is not safe

have a good day

Got any links to this info?

Sadly these links are 404 now. Here's a link to the first one listed on archive.org's wayback machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20200225011858/https://privacy-watchdog.io/truth-about-protonmail/
I have a hard time believing that there is really any anonymity on the internet. Just my two cents.

We have to build it

Thank you for this. Do you have a reccomendation to use for an actual encrypted email?

setup own open source email server and use pgp :>

What is wrong with veracrypt?

Thanks

it is the continuation of truecrypt (which was safe) und has most certainly a master backdoor in it

So if I have veracrypt currently, I should go to Truecrypt?

I thought I read somewhere that the Veracrypt version I got was a better one that didn't have a backdoor in it. Not sure though, it was years ago!

the last stable truecrypt version 7.1a is stable and good to go

just old inferace and style

ofc one can't really say if it is 100% safe, but also havent heard of any breach..

veracrypt is probably also safe.. I have mistaken it with bitlocker (which is from microsoft, but who knows if veracrypt is also..)

Well, Microsoft is so fluent in backdoors that I wouldn't be surprised if they breached data from FBI, CIA and NSA and sent it to both Jesuits and jihadists, just to make us cringe

New Laws Grants ‘Protected Class’ Status to Cops, Allows Them to Sue People for Harassment

That's insane.

At Protonmail we got this announcement this morning

Building a world where people have more voice
Proton's story is a big part of our identity and purpose, from our creation by a group of scientists who met at CERN, to the role we play today defending freedom and privacy around the globe.

This month, we want to highlight a story from the Proton user community. United People Global is a non-governmental organization (NGO) contributing to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.

Learn about why they use ProtonMail and how we can build a world where people have more voice.

I wouldn't trust anything from Switzerland

Neither would I

This is conCERNing!
Sorry, couldn't help it ;)
Does this suggest to you that Proton is used by members of CERN or that CERN members were involved with the development of Proton?

From our standpoint, we believe that end-to-end encryption of email should be open to anyone, regardless of their political affiliation. Like free speech, we should defend the rights of those we disagree with.

Here are a few which are not protonmail https://www.techradar.com/best/best-secure-email-providers

Thanks for the link, we'll have a look!

i found this late.....it's a great resource for sure!

Thanks for checking it out!
We hope it's put to good use :)

Great resource, thank you!

Damn it! Sunday night Rabbit hole mode.

Thanks alot.

amazing! thx @valued-customer for resteeming. ...upss rehiving

well I´m only investigating for personal purposes and I´m not aware about the us laws but google dork is often quite useful, Whitepages for some hints...everything else I use is probably not ethical.

tell me more :)

thanks for this!

So much I never knew existed, thanks for all the resource help.

I look forward to a second part of this contest 😉

I'd have to add whale.to to your list, has many old and censored info you won't find anywhere else.

that's great!

hey @deepdives , I noticed this community just yesterday. With a couple of collaborators we create "The Rabbit Hole" Community, with the intent of sharing alternative knowledge, going somewhere beyond simple information, helping people connecting dots, and giving tools to enhance their freedom.
I am here to offer our collaboration and to evaluate how to mutually support each other.
Let me know what you think and if you have suggestions!

amazing collection of resources

Wow, thanks for this amazing list of resources!! Great info for a newbie, much appreciated :-)
