Embark on the Journey, Walk the Path

“All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered; the point is to discover them.”
– Galileo Galilei

Making a discovery is invigorating, whether of your own thinking or through learning it from someone else. That ‘aha!’ moment is like a flame being ignited by a spark of knowledge. Awareness blossoms. Consciousness expands into greater depths of awareness. That moment represents the expansive force of Love. It is the fruit born of the Love of Truth.

We can arise to greater awareness now and then as we happen to need to learn to do something in our lives. But we can also actively pursue truth in many areas. We can care for truth in order to seek it out and evolve consciousness through the awareness that it brings. Quality, substantive and valuable truths that help us make ourselves or the world a better place to live are the crucial kind to attain. Moral truth is the most important in that respect.

To have True Care is to have the goal to pursue moral truth and embody it as consciousness expands to understand it. Consciousness evolves and engulfs the moral truth to become a representative of that truer, higher and realer way of living. This is what a real Care for Truth leads to. The Care for Truth ignites as desire to embrace, align, integrate, unite, harmonize, realize, actualize and become an embodiment of moral truth.

The path towards greater, more meaningful, substantive and valuable truth is the “spiritual” journey. It can take time. It’s also something most people do not embark upon. We need an initial awakening into caring for truth. That awakening is often brought about by a catalyst that brings our care to a certain level. The catalyst tends to be chaos: chaos in personal life, or chaos in the world. Something negative and shocking is experienced or brought into awareness.

That’s when care manifests to a greater extent within us, as a flame to fuel our inquiry. We then care more, or care enough, to want to go deeper, to know more about what is happening. That spark or flame from not-caring to caring is the beginning of the “spiritual” journey and path to truth. Care ignites the dormant flame in us all and helps us grow.

We grow with knowledge and care, from a state of ignorance and apathy, where we are “dead” in consciousness, where our “hearts” and minds are in a deadened condition or state. Care is what revives and resurrects us to be alive. Care fuels us towards a higher, realer and truer way of life. From a state of being “dead”, unbegun and uninitiated, care initiates, begins, awakens, arises, revives and resurrects us onto the “spiritual” journey and path of truth to evolve consciousness.

Truth unites. Falsity and lies divide. Embrace truth. Care for truth. Truth is Love. Love is Truth.

The journey is about learning, but also actualizing that knowledge and understanding through the wisdom of right-action. It also becomes about sharing that knowledge to influence others as you have been influenced. The path and journey can wind and turn, and we can take breaks. Care can diminish. Ignorance and apathy can creep back in to foster laziness and cowardice instead of the courage and will power to keep going.

The path keeps going though. It’s an ongoing work, a great work and journey to embark upon. We aren’t done until morality reigns and true freedom is actualized. Thinking we are done the journey means we have chosen to stop going on that path. Stepping off the path and journey puts us back into the grave. A quote attributed to Buddha illustrates two important parts of the path and journey:

“There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting.”
– Buddha

The initiation into the journey is first required. Once it has begun, the work has to be sustained by will power, effort, persistence, dedication and determination. Caring for truth is what fuels that journey. The consequences for adherence or failure determine the world we get. The more people who walk and work up or forward on the path, the greater the aggregate behaviors will produce a more moral and just world to live in.

There is no hunger in the universe every day. or there is no winner every day. there is no sleeper every day. nobody has sex every day. or no one gains strength every day. there is only one dynamic in nature that is real and does not change. to be on the road and strive to reach the truth. It is important to be virtuous in reaching the truth. I fully liked your article. thanks for sharing

I liked the quote. The best thing is to take action for finding the truth instead of wondering all the time "what if"

Hi @krnell,

Very good arguments. However, I will be brief since you speak of morality. The path between good and bad is a choice if you doubt, it is a pity that most make relative the map to get to the truth. Ignorance predominates in an apparent world ...
