Richest Americans Getting Billion$ Richer During Lockdown, $434 Billion So Far

in Deep Dives4 years ago (edited)

As millions suffer in various countries from the government imposed lockdown which drives them into poverty, the ultra rich aren't just getting richer.

The false rhetoric perpetuated by the government and media, is that the lockdown is because of the "pandemic". They word things to say that COVID-19 caused the lockdown. But the truth is that the government caused the lockdown, not COVID-19.

People have been forced out of work under a pretense of "safety" and "protection". People have become unemployed and lost their businesses, all thanks to the lockdown. A lockdown, which was overextended when the data kept showing how the infection was over-hyped with fear by the media and false early models. The lockdown is a failure. It's alleged necessity is a lie.

At the end of April, news came out that many billionaires increases their wealth by billions. In about 3-4 weeks, they made an additional $282 billion more!

According to a report from the Institute for Policy Studies, American billionaires added $282billion – nearly a ten percent increase – to their combined wealth between March 18 and April 10, as the U.S. unemployment rate approached 15 percent.

Amazon's Jeff Bezos was the biggest winner, with an increase of $25 billion to his wealth. Elon Musk was next up with $5 billion. America's billionaires make up $3.229 trillion in combined net worth.

Don't worry, Bezos and other have kept making more while everyone else is forced to not work. Just last week, another report came out. Between the US lockdown of mid-March to mid-May, American billionaires increased their fortunes by $434 billion!

Again, Bezos is on top with $36.6 billion for an additional 4 weeks from the previous $25 billion. Not bad. You aren't allowed to go shopping in stores, so your told. And even if you tried, some stores are closed because the government forced people to close up shop, under penalty of fines, arrests or losing their business license. People doing their shopping online, and using Amazon a lot. Bezos just gets richer and richer. Lucky for him the lockdown is here to make him richer.

The number 2 spot goes to Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg. He added $25 billion. I don't get how that worked out for Zuckerberg. I'm guessing it has to do with their ad scamming and the huge influx of people using Facebook while they can't go to work and amass debt.

The most tech-focused billionaires got richer. In all, the net worth of the billionaires grew by 15%, which now totals $3.382 trillion. before the lockdown it was at $2.948 trillion. The five richest saw gains of $76, with Bill Gates among them. Musk saw his fortune rise the most to $36 billion, an increase of 48%.

This doesn't mean everyone is profiting among the richest, at least not early on. Yes, cry me a river indeed. Of the worlds 500 richest people at the end of Feburary, their combined fortunes fell by $444 billion. But to be fair, many of them, if not most, are scamming money manipulators in the markets. They don't actually provide real goods or services. They just fuck around with money to make more money in the scam markets we have.

This story was older though you see. They said Bezos and Gates had the biggest losses, as did Musk. They lost some in that one week period near the start of the scamdemic. But then went bouncing up not long after.

The markets took a hit early on, as you recall. But they bounced back. The story in bloomberg can give the impression of the rich suffering. Ya know, those arguments against ending the lockdown, that people only care about money. Forget that it's an unnecessary scam and hurts the poorest and middle class the most. That doesn't matter. You must obviously only care about money and the rich getting richer.

News flash for you people, they have already been getting richer while everyone else gets poorer. The middle class is steadily being wiped out. Suicide attempts in California have already seen a 12 fold increase in in the past month compared to other years. That means there have been as many suicide attempts in the past month as the have been a whole year prior.

If you are new to this info about the scamdemic lockdown, check out my other posts to understand the data that shows how this is a big fraud. People lives are being ruined, and many will die in the long term. Increased unemployment, poverty, drug use, depression, domestic abuse, child abuse, sexual abuse and suicides. We are going into a great depression, worse than the 1930s.

We haven't begun to feel the effects yet. We're already deeper in the negative growth in the past 2 months than the "Great Recession" of 2008. The dip back then took 2 years to express itself. In only 2 months we've gone part that. economic life is going to get worse, and life in general will be worse as a result. Stay tuned for some great suffering thanks to your governments.

After they get that big amount? What are they going to do with that money? For what reason? To be rich is a common answer. But what if your time comes, the judgement? Better to share your wealth to the people who really need it especially the homeless and people who is hungry. There is a lot of people in USA that is homeless... Better to help them and give proper shelter and land and teach them farming in a small backyard so that no one will be hungry especially during lockdown...

I don't know. Greed is a psychological phenomenon... they are scared they won't have enough... to do... something... at some point? lol. Their survival depends on allll that money.

For the rich people that is their survival because they don't know about farming even planting! LOL... But what if there is no farmer what are they going to eat? LOL Lucky to small people who knows planting or homesteading, they can survive without money...

Greediness is really a natural ugly attitude of the people who doesn't know the meaning of love and compassion or sacrifice for the love ones... (^_^)

Bill Gates first monopolized Windows, now he has monopolized public health. People were ok with it then and now. I wonder why and why not just bring back kings rule now in the 21st century? I wonder what else will open people's eyes!

Hehe, yeah, he knows how to roll in the monopolies!

Every economic hit is usually a pretty solid score for the richest of the rich. I wonder who is above these people that isn’t so public facing like the queen of England. She’s probably increased just as much herself.

Yup, seems to be that way over and over going back 100 years.

I can understand Bezos making more money, but how would Elon Musk make more?

Sell dem cars...?

Yeah but nobody's buying cars, that is why I asked the question.

You need money to make money, world has never moved from that maxim. Normal people will just have to face the consequences of the pandemic, same as ever. Hope nobody lost close ones, F the money and all, just keep safe all, times are tough.

No, you can start to work and make money, where you didn't have money before. Or if you want to make a business, sure, you often have to get a loan to use money to make money. And some people just play money gambling games in the markets. They aren't making a real business.

Its all fake paper wealth

Digital too ;)

Lots of money together. And I have nowhere to fall dead. Hahaha I hope that the pandemic passes and the economy improves for everyone.
