Authoritarian in Cali threatens to arrest 12 year old for missing Zoom classes

Yes, miss some virtual class meetings, and your child can be a criminal in the eyes of the delusional Nazi authoritarians who want to control our lives.

Due to the government and media hysteria around the flu-like COVID-19 illness, physical classes have been canceled in many places for the least susceptible age group. The flu is more deadly to children than COVID-19.

A 12 year old in the California Bay Area missed 3 30-minute Zoom classes. A letter was sent to inform the parents of these missed meetings, and threatened to arrest their son for missing less than 2 hours of virtual classes.

According to new California law (the homeland of lefty authoritarian madness), failure of attendance constitutes truancy.

"He can become a truant of the state and he could be arrested," explained Mastrov, who said he immediately called an administrator at Stanley Middle School. "I said, 'Are you going to come and try to arrest my son at my home, or fine me for not getting him to his Zoom class perfectly, on time everyday?'"

This is what the world is heading deeper and deeper into. The complete subjugation to the will of tyrants in positions of authority. 2020 has shown this increasing trend aptly. There is this idea that children belong to the "community", not their parents. This translates to the state as the larger community which gets to impose their will on children against the wishes or will of their own parents.

"The letter is part of our responsibility to the state for our student attendance review boards. As always, the schools have a responsibility to ensure students are engaged and learning."

Yes, arrest children who don't follow your authoritarian brainwashing camps. Make them into criminals for missing a few bullshit virtual classes. What an order follower who has no problem being a mini-tyrant.

So why is this attendance issue so important to schools anyways? Money. Attendance is how schools get funding from state and federal governments.

This isn't the first case of these letters, as other parents have received similar letters for missing virtual meetings. This is such a joke. The kids aren't even at school. They aren't being supervised or kept at a school "day care" while parents go to work. Parents now have to do it, all the while the funds keep flowing to schools that aren't even being used! LOL.
