Life is Precious #9 - My Walk with Timothy Martin

I'm reminded of the life of a person who started out an enemy and later on became a friend. His name was Timothy Martin and he was a student I knew in High School. Tim was a jock, the polar opposite of me, the bookworm. A big guy, he was on the football team and was widely expected to go to college and then join the NFL. At our school, the football players were treated as if they were local celebrities. I can still remember people reaching out just to touch the quarterback as he walked through the halls, it was good to be on the team. Every girl wanted to date them and every guy wanted to be them, this was the milieu that Tim operated in.

Generous /Generosa

During my last semester in college studying law, I think in 2010 came out to the Venezuelan market the so-called mini laptop or netbook, this was a boom one of the reasons was its easy transport, for its small size, you could keep them in your purse or backpack without much trouble, just at that time of my life to access the computer at home to do some work was a problem, because my sister and I were studying, my nephew the same and my son was also in school age, so you can imagine the fights to get a turn at the computer, but thank God the solution came, a friend was selling mini laptop of different brands, so I could buy one, eventually it was damaged and now after my arrival #Hiveurgently needed a computer.

My Gallery (231) Homemade Organic Lemonade Stand

Last week I sold my homemade lemonade. I made it by myself but of course with my mom's assistance. I wanted to do this soooo much. I couldn't wait more for nice sunny days to come, and finally spring came. I was ready.

I decorated my lemonade stand. I had to do a lot of cutting, gluing, drawing, and thinking how to arrange everything together. It was much fun because I like creating stuff.

A Rant On Psycological Health Conditioning; Why Do Unwell People Sometimes Decide to Remain An Enigma?

I pride myself to be a very private person but circumstances surrounding some conditioning in my life has required me to be public, vocal and often relay my feelings on a daily basis. This has been problematic and I find it difficult to often find catharsis from these events that sorrounds my life.

Im somebody who is very vague, I like to be enimatic and I like to be anonymous, I have experienced all sort of things in life, ranging from pain to shame and because of this I find only my world, my mind and my Imagination to be the only comfortable place for me.

I like to keep my undoings to myself and of course this is because irrespective of how dependable people seems they often tend to disappoint you when you need them and this is obviously the main reason why I trust only myself. Even people you call your friends have their limits, eventually they'll draw their line and you'll be left to deal with your issue when push comes to shove.

GET THOSE TASTY WILD TREE FLOWERS CHILDREN!!!!

Just look at them go!!!

We like to eat a lot of wild edibles. Besides eating some fresh, we also like to preserve some for later on in the year. This time the Little-Peppers were picking wild Redbud flowers for Mama-Pepper to turn into Redbud Jelly!!!! Enjoy the photos!

Forest Walking

Today we went out in search for some land, and we explored a very special corner of a larger farm. We are looking to purchase this piece to make a hidden hostel membership club with @ecobanker. The whole idea still needs a lot of work, and I need to meet with some lawyers still. But we are getting started either way!

This piece of land today was very intriguing because it was quite flat, and a partial secondary forest had been preserved, within which appeared some interesting features!

Spring garden update - Bush cherries

In the last few weeks this bush has flowered, and eventually these flowers will form small cherry fruits. Maybe not this year, but eventually it should when its ready. I have two of these bushes, known as Hansen bush cherries. I got these plants a year ago and they are getting adjusted to their new environment. With the amount of chill hours we get here in North Georgia they should do well at fruiting. And having two of them should help out making stronger fruit sets.

Why Do So Many People Believe That Nuclear Power Is the Future of Energy?

Our current understanding of radioactive isotoypes and radioactivity is so poor...

Lets say that humanity had a piano. And the way that humanity got music out of the piano was to haul it up to the second floor balcony and pushing it off. Recording the sound as it hit the ground.

Our idea of radioactivity is, at best, in the dark ages.

Still we have many people who think that this "most expensive steam kettle ever" is the way to produce electricity for today and into the future.

I disagree, as the land destruction from mining radioactive materials, the pollution of refining this, and then use of, and finally the containing of the waste for centuries, is too much of a cost.

Further we must also account for the horrifying consequences of any problem in the complex system that is heat extraction from rods filled with uranium.

We All Just Want To Be Heard - The Importance Of Feedback!

Most of us have been brought up in an environment, where we have not been given enough space for personal attention. Where we have struggled to be heard and seen, where more importance was placed upon our ability to listen and follow instructions.

For some, this may have occurred within their home and for many it occurred within the educational system. As a result, so many of us struggle to find ways in which we can express our own needs, simply because we have never been shown or encouraged to do so.

There is, that age old expression, that children should be seen and not heard and that is something that some people still expect, in some parts of society today, I have witnessed it myself many times. Where people become visibly upset when they hear children being “ loud”. So of course it is difficult for many children to share their needs if they are being treated as 2nd class citizens.

Where they are expected to listen and observe , to keep their thoughts and feelings to themselves. So in the end, we learn that the only way in which to be heard is to act out or to do something that draws attention to us. We can also manipulate situations and conversations in order to receive some empathy. Systemic learning that has become ingrained in us and that can become really hard to shift.

E#57 Season finale- DZP

Welcome, to the final episode of the season...!!
In this episode, I revisit some of the subjects we spoke about throughout the season, sacred geometry in evolution, the human body as a yard stick of the universe, and what all this means for our personal lives.
Let me know if you have any final questions, or if you have any thoughts for next week's episode.
Hope you enjoy!

If you enjoy listening to the show, you can really help by sharing it with people you think might like it. I'm happy to say the show's audience is growing every day, and sharing with others really helps support and increase the production value of the show.

The show is available on all your podcast apps, search for DZP.

ECOTRAIN SUPPORTS

Facilitating off-grid sustainable living, local trade & commerce!
ecoVillages is a new paradigm in self sufficient building and living, based on empowered groups that live off-grid with little to no bills or debt using earthship biotecture. What lies at the core of ecoVillages is that it is a model that embraces decentralisation in every way. We make sure every aspect of life is as close to home as possible, and under an individual’s control!

Our primary goal is to facilitate others to build and live in the most sustainable way using earthship biotecture, to provide a lifetime of self sufficiency with almost no ongoing bills and maintenance. Our model begins in rural areas with a lot of land available at low cost. Our model is decentralised and so homes will be spread out with each person or collective owning their land outright, but are a part of a strong and supportive community.
