This had been a question which I asked myself most of the times, and after many deliberations. My answer is YES, let tell you why I think so.

Looking into word Fair its means "treating people equally without favoritism or discrimination." With reference to the meaning of Fair, does life treat us all equally without favoritism or discrimination, I think that a resounding YES!! Let's consider our daily lives, how many hour do you have in a day? That's 24hours, well does it differ from the time available to anyone else. Does life hinder anyone from achieving anything? NO, Only conditions and our choices define what we'll get to achieve in life.

But on the other hand, those this mean everyone in life gets what they deserve? This is a NO!! Are the good always happy and the bad always sad? NO. In fact, it proven to be almost the opposite whereby the bad are happy, while the good suffer, but this can't be blamed on life. I think it would be more appropriate to blame this on LUCK (although I don't believe in Luck).

To rap things up, I believe everything happens for a reason, either a choice we made (or a choice we didn't make) and many of this choice were made unconsciously, so we don't get to see any wrong in our actions. Sometimes in cases like Death, we mostly get to feel like Life is Unfair but really, every individual live is in their own hands, it depends on your choices, What you do? Or What you didn't do? Where you went? Or Where you didn't go? What you eat? Or What you didn't eat? How well did you take care of yourself? This things all just bore down to OUR ACTIONS and it has absolutely nothing to do with Life itself.

Life is fair, only Choices and Conditions made the Difference.

Hmm your view is totally different and I agree with you 100%
Life is fair indeed, our choices sometimes make life to be unfair to us. So we can choose to make life fair to us by making the right choices.
Making right choices is not that easy but we can always try our best in doing that.

I love your view, thanks for sharing with us your own view. It's very much appreciated, all the best in your entry.

What about someone who died in his sleep without no existing medical condition?
What choice did he make that made him to die?

Yea definitely, there are something's way over our heads which we don't understand. For the example you citied, what actually was the cause for his death, it could a heart dysfunction or something else, what I'm just trying to say is life was what was taken from him, not what took from him, let say he made only the right decisions all his life (which no one does), then we can say God took his life.

The main point I'm trying to drive here is this: life is like a tool given to everyone of us, this tool works the same way for everyone: it gives us the ability to wake up, move around and do things, so what you do with it is up to you, and as Christians we believe this tool is to be returned someday, which no one knows!

So the question should be is the Giver partial with the time he takes it back? I believe God is not partial, so why do this unfair things happen to people? I guess that the part which is way over our heads.

You are right. Thanks for the clarification.
