Hello all, this will be my last update post about the earthquake. All the posts I have shared so far have received great support from the community. I am grateful for all of them. Yesterday I shared an informational post where I sent the support that came to the earthquake zone, if you are wondering where the support was donated and whether it was donated or not, you can read that post.

Unfortunately, I haven't heard much positive news since the last update post, but I still want to keep you updated.

1. The number of people who lost their lives in the earthquake has risen to 36187 and the number of injured people to 108068. 216347 people were evacuated from the region to other cities. The number of destroyed buildings has exceeded 30000 as I saw in the news. Of course, these are official sources, I guess the number of people who died is more than that only in one city. When 30000 buildings collapse, there is no chance that 1 person will die in each building, right? I guess there are more deaths than this number only in Hatay. source

2. There are still people who were rescued in the earthquake. These miracles make me happy. At the 261st hour, at the end of the 11th day, there are still survivors under the rubble. Rescue efforts continue. I hope that many more people will be rescued in a healthy way, but as time passes, this possibility is getting very small.source

3. After the Turkish Military Forces landed in the earthquake zone, I started to see less news about looting, which makes me happy because I was very disturbed by the fact that looters were stealing people's property while people were in the earthquake zone fearing for their lives.

4. In the earthquake zone, people still do not have good cell phone reception. 2 days ago, I tried to talk to a friend of mine but there was no signal. Believe me, I don't know how it happens. Imagine that you have no signal for 10 days after the earthquake. Imagine not being able to reach your family, friends and people to get help. It's awful. I hope this problem will be fixed as soon as possible.

5. One update that I forgot to inform you about is that President Erdogan has repeatedly said that they will rebuild the houses destroyed in the earthquake within 1 year. I don't know what to say about this because the people who died will not come back, those who are alive will live in constant fear of earthquakes and there is an election ahead of us. So we will see what will happen together. source

Maalesef son güncelleme postundan bu yana pek olumlu bir haber alamadım. Yine de sizi güncel tutmak istiyorum.

1. Depremde hayatını kaybeden insan sayısı 38044'ye yükseldi, yaralı sayısı ise 108068. 216347 kişi bölgeden başka şehirlere tahliye edilmiş. Yıkılan bina sayısı ise haberlerde gördüğüm kadarıyla 30000'i geçmiş. Tabi ki bunlar resmi kaynaklar, ölen kişi sayısının sadece bir şehirde bundan daha fazla olduğunu tahmin ediyorum. 30000 bina yıkıldığında her binada 1 kişinin ölme şansı yok değil mi? Sadece Hatay'da bu sayıdan daha fazla ölüm olduğunu tahmin ediyorum. source

2. Depremde hala kurtarılan insanlar var. Bu mucizeler beni mutlu ediyor. 261. saatte yani 11. günün sonunda hala enkaz altından sağ çıkanlar var. Kurtarma çalışmaları devam ediyor. Umarım bir sürü insan daha sağlıklı bir şekilde oradan kurtulur ancak zaman geçtikçe bu ihtimal çok azalıyor. source

3. Türk Silahlı Kuvvetlerinin deprem bölgesine inmesiyle yağma haberlerini görmemeye başladım. Bu da beni sevindiriyor çünkü deprem bölgesinde insanlar can derdindeyken yağmacıların insanların mallarını çalması beni çok rahatsız ediyordu.

4. Deprem bölgesinde insanların telefonları hala doğru düzgün çekmiyor. 2 gün önce bir arkadaşımla konuşmaya çalıştım ama telefonu çekmiyordu. Nasıl oluyor inanın bilmiyorum. Depremden sonra 10 gün boyunca telefonunuzun çekmediğini düşünün. Ailenize, arkadaşlarınıza ve yardım almak için insanlara ulaşamadığınızı düşünün. Berbat bir şey. Umarım bu sorun en kısada sürede düzeltilir.

5. Size haber vermeyi unuttuğum bir gelişme, cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan depremde yıkılan evleri 1 yıl içinde yapacaklarını tekrar tekrar dile getiriyor. Bu konuda ne söyleyeceğimi bilmiyorum çünkü ölen insanlar geri gelmeyecek, yaşayanlar sürekli deprem korkusuyla yaşayacak ve önümüzde bir seçim de var. Dolayısıyla neler olacağını birlikte göreceğiz. source
