Today i want to share a picture of beautiful
Pink Garden petunia. It also called petunia. It belongs to family solanaceae - nightshade , solanaceous plants.It belongs to kingdom plantae. Its botanical name is petunia atkinsiana. Its class is magnoliopsida - dicotyledons, dicots , eiudicots. It can reach up to 10 cm meter to 50 cm in height.It is attractive to butterflies and also birds.It's a symbols of serenity ,you bring warmth and a sense of security. It grows well in full sunlight to partial. It blooms in summer and autumn. The size of the flower is 4 cm to 10 cm. It spreads around 10cm to 50cm. It varies in different colours like redish pink, purple, white etc. It needs soil like sand , loam well drained ; slightly acidic , neutral , slightly alkaline. It can be fertilize in spring once. It's planting time is spring and autumn. It can propagate by sowing. It is also known as Queen of the fower bed. It can tolerate daytime temperature between 61 to 70F.
It is a thirsty plant needs regular watering to moisten the soil.

It's a nectar source for hummingbirds. These flowers are native to South America. It is an ornamental flowers. Garden petunia can be used in window boxes or hanging pot.
