How to Make Someone Happy with Ecency Points

( EN / DE ) I've been meaning to write a post about this for a while and since this week's #edtopic topic is "Boosting, Promoting and Tipping with Ecency Points", now is a good time to share my thoughts on it with you.
Ich wollte schon länger mal einen Beitrag über dieses Thema schreiben und da das edtopic Thema dieser Woche „Boosting, Promoting und Tipping mit Ecency Points“ ist, bietet es sich jetzt an euch meine Gedanken dazu mitzuteilen.

PROMOTING

Here you alone decide. A promoted post will be displayed in the feed of other Ecency users for the selected period of time. Whether other users will also look at the post can not be estimated in advance, but the chances to be seen and to have new visitors on your content are given.
Hier entscheidest alleine Du selbst. Ein promoteter Post wird über den gewählten Zeitraum im Feed der anderen Ecency User angezeigt werden. Ob andere User sich den Post dann auch ansehen kann man vorher nicht abschätzen, die Chancen gesehen zu werden und neue Besucher auf seinem Content zu haben sind jedenfalls gegeben.

As an example I have chosen a post from @merit.ahama which I liked very much and which I think could be interesting for other Ecency users, because procastration is something very widespread.
Here I have set with 150 points on 1 day promotion. I personally rarely choose a longer period, but that is of course up to you and is again content dependent.
Als Beispiel habe ich einen Post von @merit.ahama ausgewählt, der mir sehr gut gefallen hat und von dem ich aber auch denke, es könnte andere Ecency User interessieren, denn Prokastrination ist doch etwas sehr weit verbreitetes
Hier habe ich mit 150 Punkten auf 1 Tag Promotion eingestellt. Ich persönlich wähle selten einen längeren Zeitraum, aber das bleibt natürlich euch selbst überlassen und ist auch wieder Content abhängig.

Both Boost and Promote function are easily found in the 3 point menu of a post, which you can find either in the feed or at the end of the post.
This function fills out the form for you right away and you don't have to bother with copy and paste. Then simply select the height/length and confirm the transaction.
Sowohl Boost als auch Promote Funktion finden sich ganz einfach jeweil im dem 3 Punkte Menü eines Posts, das ihr entweder im Feed oder am Ende des Postes findet.
Diese Funktion füllt euch das Formular gleich aus und ihr müsst euch nicht mit Copy und Paste herumärgern. Danach einfach die Höhe/Länge wählen und die Transaktion bestätigen.

TIP

This function can be found at the end of a post in the form of a small gift icon. Here, too, a pre-filled form opens immediately, which, for example, eliminates typos in the name.
You can now choose if you want to send HIVE, HBD or Ecency POINTS.
Diese Funktion findet ihr am Ende eines Posts in Form eines kleinen Geschenk Symbols. Auch hier öffnet sich gleich ein vorausgefülltes Formular, das zum Beipiel Tippfehler des Namens ausschießt.
Ihr könnt nun wählen, ob ihr HIVE, HBD oder Ecency POINTS senden wollt.

As an example I have chosen a post from @grindan. This post is with 16 days already over the payout date, so a vote makes no sense anymore. Since the text has touched me very much, I just wanted to give something and have sent 100 points this way.
Als Beispiel habe ich einen Post von Grindan gewählt. Dieser Post ist mit 16 Tagen schon über dem Payout Datum, ein Vote macht also keinen Sinn mehr. Da mich der Text sehr berührt hat wollte ich aber einfach etwas geben und habe 100 points auf diesem Weg gesendet.

So you can do all this with your Ecency Points. If you want to give Eceny more room and voting power, you can also delegate HP to Ecency.
Das alles könnt ihr also mit euren Ecency Points machen. Wer gerne Eceny mehr Spielraum und Votingpower verschaffen will, der kann auch HP an Ecency delgieren.
