We have seen many times over the past few months that Bitcoin came close to 10k but never really held its value around that mark. It was for the first time today that it went past 10k and is now sitting nicely over it.
I don't know if it can hold the price for the coming days but it has already shown some consolidation. It is a very positive sign for the whole crypto world as 10k is sort of a psychological mark and if Bitcoin stays over it, it will be good for the whole market.
Meanwhile, the altcoins are the ones that really took off today. There are multiple coins in the top 100 with over 10-15% gains in the past 24 hours. We are closing in on the marketcap of $300 billion and if we get there, you might see crazy gains in altcoins. However, it depends on the fact whether you are holding the right altcoins or not.
Hive has been struggling ever since that trading completion on Huobi was over. I had thought that the price will stay above 40 cents but that was not to be and it came all the way down to 23 cents yesterday. It did see a small pump taking it to 26 cents before Bitcoin took off but since then Hive hasn't really done anything. However, if the market continues to grow, there is a strong chance that Hive will follow as well.
I have been thinking of buying more Hive if the price drops to 20 cents. While I will be lucky to accumulate more Hive at that price, I really wish that Hive goes up in value and my buy order stays unfilled.

Indeed, we can see some altcoins frenzy ! And as it goes up, people can sell them and pump BTC and then buy alts over and over hahah.
Thank you for this nice post and I believe most of us are thinking the same thing "I will buy at 0.2$". It did not happen... YET maybe :D
Trust me, if BTC goes back below $9.5k, Hive will be selling below 20 cents.
But I don't want that to happen 😀
