1. We added support for DICE cards

We had the support done earlier this week but we already had BID stuff in the next release so we needed to wait to get bids ready for a beta release.

2. We upped the buy limit in the market to 150 per transaction

It is up from 40 to 150 because the transactions are no longer limited by the hive/steem blockchain wallet. Instead by the JSON limits.

3. Rental contract length is back to the original lengths

Because new rental system is going to take a while we decided to bring it back for the time being.
NOTE: We will NOT promise your long contracts will last the full term when we switch to new system. That is the compromise. We don't know when the new system will come out or what the transition period will require. But in the meantime we gave back the old rental lengths.

4. Tiers/Volume now counts DEC

For both market and bids any DEC purchases will be counted toward your rolling volume/tiers ... which btw is going to have an update in the future to impact feature usage among other things.

5. BIDS ARE BACK

How they work now?

  • You use your own DEC in your Splinterlands wallet.
  • It has NOTHING to do with PeakCredit anymore
  • First time making a bid give PeakMonsters "Purchase Authority" and then refresh the website
  • Purchase Authority allows us to use the DEC in your Splinterlands wallet to purchase cards for you and the cards get send straight to your wallet.

5b. DEC BIDS

Yep that's the first of the new set of features we're implimenting.
You can make a bid in DEC and we will calculate the USD value of that bid and if a card is listed for a USD value at or below your equivilent DEC bid we'll buy the card in your name.

Here are all the changes you'll notice on the MARKET PAGE
https://peakmonsters.com/market

Also notice that MARKET VALUE is likely gonna be more accurate with bids back.

THE FUTURE OF BIDS

  • Better Faster Easier RARITY UI
  • Multi BCX bidding
  • Bid quantity changing (increasing)
  • Bid limits changing (increasing)

BETA RELEASE

Consider bids in beta we appreciate any feedback you have so we can make quick fixes and move on to the next features for

SPECIAL THANKS

thanks to @yabapmatt from @splinterlands to helping come up with the solution of "Purchase Authority" to make BIDS a possibility... doing it through PeakCredits was going to be perhaps too complicated to bring back.

"Rental contract length is back to the original lengths"

Nooo, I need to relist everything again.

Yes and rental listings is a pain... we understand this, one of the reasons we want to move on from the present way rentals works.
