Harmony among the extended family that involves all species of life

Now here is a picture of nature at its friendliest. This is a truly amazing photo of the horse who came to visit and the cat who made friends with him. They are an odd pair but nature facilitates the friendship of the species sometimes, even though they may be quite disparate or different from each other.

I have seen it on occasion where odd couples will appear in nature among species that you wouldn’t normally see together. It really affirms my feeling that all creatures wish to live in peace and harmony, especially when there is no competition for resources. These two friends have no need to clash because they are not threatening to each other, nor are they competing since they have differing needs and tastes.

Seeing the horse right outside the living room window like this is a really special scene to behold. It feels like we can bond with these beautiful creatures. If we can have a pet cat, then we can also have a pet horse. And how about a pet sheep? Here is another photo of an even more oddly matched group of friends. Nevertheless, they still remain friends and the sheep, who is actually a ram, seems to stick with the horses who are now his firm friends, despite the difference of species.

I presume they speak the same language and they certainly have the same habits, namely grazing all day. The size difference does not seem to intimidate the ram at all. Even when they compete for grass, and the horses find that the ram is getting in their way, and they even bite him on the neck, still he does not seem to feel offended.

I have seen the more feisty of the horse actually give the ram a firm bite on the neck but the thick woolly coat probably protects him to a degree. So he stick by their side regardless. They may even kick, as horses are known to do when flustered, but the ram is on their team throughout. Size does not matter, nor does species in this relation ship.

The horses have presumably come to the window looking for a snack, so I give them some tasty vegetable peels, which they appreciate. It’s a beautiful scene and these creatures make up the extended family across species. We are all co-inhabitants of planet earth and can actually benefit from each others presence. An ideal world will not need to abuse animals in any way as we share the vegetation of nature together. I live in such a nurturing world. It’s all around me here. I hope you can tap into it too wherever you are.
