Yesterday was the September equinox, which marks the beginning of the spring or autumn in the southern or northern hemispheres, respectively.
At the end of winter and being of spring the majority of birds start nesting. The images that I share in this post show a group of cormorants building their nests on the branches of the trees.

These photos were taken one month ago at Antofagasta (Chile). At that moment I was walking and heard a lot of noise coming from some trees. I looked at that direction and I saw this group of sea birds making their nests.

It was not easy to take these photos. I used the camera of my cell phone a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and primarily the lens of 10x, which is equivalent of a focal length of 233mm in a full frame sensor format (35mm). In spite of these “technical difficulties” the images captured a key moment of the spring.

Saludos, @nenio.
