It works much better at the lake!
Honestly, I do not think that I have ever held onto five Common Snapping Turtles at the same time in my entire life, unless perhaps they were tiny hatchlings. This was crazy, but I went for it anyway. Thankfully, I avoided getting bitten, although it may have been close a few times.
As you can tell, this was difficult, even for me. I was concerned at times, but I wouldn't say that I was afraid. These creatures are very powerful and can inflict a nasty bite. They are also known for NOT wanting to let go. Their "beaks" are very sharp, and these are not creatures to be played with.
Thankfully, I was able to capture the moment both in photos, but also on film. We've been enjoying a lot of different creatures lately, and we plan on releasing a video soon featuring some of them. Here's some more photo options to enjoy!

Just beacuse you can doesn't always mean you should!! Although it is pretty cool to see you holding that many at the same time!
