It was so fast, watch at around 20 seconds.
I went to my native to give some supplies to my Mom and stayed for couple of days. In the afternoon a sudden storm caught my attention, I had to go out and check out things are in place and it was really scary there. I was shooting a video and never did I realize that I would accidentally capture Lightning - do people wait to shoot that ? For a moment, I felt like it was coming to me. And even though I can see in the video, I cannot extract the still out of the video, super fast and stunning.
And this jasmine flower caught my attention this time as well, its the bigger sister of our country variant jasmine. This is named as Balli flower where as it's younger sister is known as Malli - I still learn from my Mom's experience. Mom brought it from some temple and the size was eye catching. And of course the fragrance - keep just one flower in a room and you can smell it. This amazing nature has given us so many gifts.

That was cool! I have never managed to capture a lightning with my camera (I mean as a photo) but it seems doable in the form of a video :) I will give it a try the next time there is a thunder storm around me :D
The video can capture I am sure. Interestingly, I could not extract the image out of video by pausing, may be it needs some advanced tools, to look at micro seconds.

I didn´t use any tool, I just paused the video on my front end (hive.blog) and took a screenshot of it :) But it took me a while to pause the video at this partcular moment...
So apparently hive.blog is a better tool than Window Video editor :) or may be you have a high precession hand.

Haven't got a chance to capture lightning myself so far. Seems to be a stormy weather you have there.

That is impressive. It seems windy as well, that's the best.The winds and the lightning combined makes wonderful photos. But my smartphone not able to do that. It can only take good photos in daylight !

The kind of fragrance these jasmine flowers give is heavenly. I have a jasmine flower plant at my home and it really brings such good fragrance to my house.
Ya I know, its such a blessings to have the natural fragrance flow through the house. This particular one is seriously eye catching, its so huge, I think, it has a very good potential to be commercially cultivated.

Wow that's an impressive lightning bolt.
It's not easy to capture a photo or even a video of lightning. Often you have to be very patient since they happen so fast (like you said) and/or sporadically. I usually miss the bolts or give up on waiting for them every time I try to film them haha.

I never planned for it, and even did not think, it would be captured.
But these moments I am very scared.
How beautiful to see nature in bustle and then see it calm. It is a wonderful feeling. I liked the white jasmine flower.
Seeing thunder is beautiful and scary at the same time, it is raining and the sky is covered with clouds, what a wonderful sight. Do you know the difference between thunder and lightning?
lightning is fitter than thunder - it runs faster and reaches us first :)
