On the Ecency mobile-app: Go to a community page and tap the little arrowhead to the right of "Details" — it will toggle the 'Details' page of the group ON/OFF. When 'ON' you will see a 'JOIN' button at the bottom if you are not already a member of the community. (The button will say "LEAVE" if you already are a member.)
And I've been using the app for 4 years and am still astonished by how much they have packed into my phone screen! I suspect there will always be new things for me to learn! Thanks!
