Happy weekend to you all my friends in this community @needleworkmonday lovers of diy and hive, I am so happy to be here today with another beautiful piece of creativity from my sewing room, I hope you are all doing great and having beautiful time out there with family and friends and for those who might be at work, I hope you are having a great day out there. Today I will be sharing with you the step by step process on how I was able to make this adorable fabric flower with pink and yellow pieces of left over fabric as an accessory.

As a seamstress, I have come to understand that I can be creative in various ways using pieces of left over fabric to create something very beautiful, useful and adorable. I decided to try out something new on some pieces of fabric to make a flower sometime ago when I couldn't get an applique nearby to beautify one of the outfit I made and trust me the fabric flower was beautiful and looked so nice on the outfit, since then I have decided to always make my own design of flowers from fabrics as an accessory to add more beauty to the outfit I make.

This is another beautiful and adorable fabric flower I made recently, I hope you will like the beautiful outcome.

Join me as I take you through the cutting and sewing process

From the pink fabric, I measured and cut out a circle with the diameter of 3" in 6 places

I took one of the pieces and folded it in two

It was also folded in two again and I used a lighter to secure the edges together

The same process was repeated on the other pieces and was set aside

I took my hand needle and thread to run a long stitch on all the pieces one after the other

It was gathered together and I use the needle to secure the other side as well and I have this beautiful design

To cover the center, I brought out some scraps of yellow fabric, I cut some small pieces and put them in a bigger piece which was tied together with thread and the excess were trimmed off

It was glue to the center of the flower I made for a beautiful outcome.

I hope you like the simplicity and beautiful outcome of it as it can be used as an accessory on a cap, outfit or anything else you desire to beautify it with.
