Hello friends of Hive as a new member of this community, I must say that I admire the work of all, is fascinating creations, inventions, art, you all develop, that inspired me, so I decided to participate in the contest promoted by @ocd, who motivated me to write from the community @needleworkmonday, so I can reflect to you, and show you a little of what I am and what I like to do, it is a privilege for me to develop and demonstrate my skills and talents. Here is the post of the contest
I had few resources to get a new cap, but I decided to make this wonderful visor, with some materials I had at home, the result was wonderful, I hope you like it.
Below I will show you the procedure to make this incredible Visor.
- Materiales:
- 1- Aguja.
- 2- Hilo.
- 3- Tijera.
- Materials:
- 1- Needle.
- 2- Thread.
- 3- Scissors.
- 4- Pencil.
- 5- Cloth that we have in our homes, color to your preference.
- 6- A folder of strong material (plastic).
Step 1: With a mold cut out in the shape of a visor, we proceed to mark it on our folder, made of strong material, then we cut it out.
Step 2: We continue marking the shape of our visor already cut out, on the fabric that we will use to cover our visor. We cut leaving a thick edge, so that at the time of sewing, it is not smaller than stipulated.
Step 3: We sew what we cut out, and then we insert our visor inside the lining.
Step 4: We proceed to cut what will be the crown that will cover part of our head. We cut and sew, then we iron the strip for a better finish.
Step 5: After having our pieces ready, we proceed to sew them together.
Step 6: After joining our two pieces, we continue to sew on the back of the crown, the magic clasp, which will allow the grip of both sides, at the time of putting on our visor.
Step 7: I wanted to capture the Hive logo on this amazing creation, I drew it to get the pattern out, then captured it on my visor, which I really liked, and painted it.
Hive family, this is my final result, I really enjoyed making my Visor, and I wanted to share this experience with all of you. I hope you like it, thanks for reading my Blog, greetings.

Every week needleworkers from around the globe get together to share our work, patterns, tips, ideas and shortcuts as we support one another. Our goal is to inspire the Hive blockchain to give crafting a try.
On Monday’s we use the #needleworkmonday tag and on all other days we use the #needlework tag without the word Monday attached. We share and post our work directly from the Community page.
We encourage our members to share the process of their work through photos (as you have done). This not only validates your work but it takes us along the creative journey with you :)
