¡Saludos! Es esta ocasión les comparto el paso a paso para realizar un botón bordado con el símbolo de Bitcoin, porque estamos en el mundo de la blockchain, las criptomonedas y sé que en Hive hay muchas personas que hacen inversiones y trading, además quien no quiere tener un Bitcoin?

Greetings! It is this time I share with you the step by step to make a button embroidered with the Bitcoin symbol, because we are in the world of blockchain, cryptocurrencies and I know that in Hive there are many people who make investments and trading, also who does not want to have a Bitcoin?

Materiales / Materials

Para el patrón necesitamos papel milimetrado y un lápiz
Tela para bordar en puntos cruz, recibe un nombre diferente dependiendo del país.
Hilo dorado
Aguja
Tijera
Una chapa o botón publicitario reciclado de 3,8 centímetros de diámetro (pequeño)
Cúter

For the pattern we need graph paper and a pencil

Proceso / Process

Para el patrón medí cuantos cuadritos de la tela eran suficientes para hacer el símbolo. Luego con un lápiz tracé el contorno de los cuadros que irán bordados. Les comparto dos versiones del patrón, una solo con el símbolo y otro con el contorno circular. Utilicé el primero porque se adaptaba mejor al tamaño del botón que tenía.

For the pattern I measured how many squares of the fabric were enough to make the symbol. Then with a pencil I traced the outline of the squares that will be embroidered. I share two versions of the pattern, one only with the symbol and another with the circular outline. I used the first one because it suited the size of the button I had better.

Enhebré el hilo dorado en la aguja y me dispuse a bordar el símbolo de Bitcoin, haciendo una cruz de hilo por cada uno de los cuadros formados por los agujeritos de la tela.

I threaded the golden thread on the needle and started to embroider the Bitcoin symbol, making a cross of thread for each of the squares formed by the holes in the fabric.

Una vez obtenido el bordado, me dispuse a separar la parte posterior del botón de metal con ayuda de un cúter, siendo muy cuidadosa de no hacer tanta presión como para doblar demás el metal y para evitar cualquier accidente con el cúter. Una vez separada esta parte me dispuse a levantar cuidadosamente el plástico protector. Posteriormente me deshice del papel que estaba adherido a la superficie de metal. (Como mi botón era viejito tuve que pasar una lija para eliminar un poco de óxido en la superficie interna)

Once the embroidery was obtained, I started to separate the back of the metal button with the help of a cutter, being very careful not to apply so much pressure as to bend the metal excessively and to avoid any accident with the cutter. Once this part was separated, I started to carefully lift the protective plastic. Later I got rid of the paper that was adhering to the metal surface. (Since my button was old, I had to sandpaper to remove a little rust on the internal surface)

Tracé con un lápiz la circunferencia del botón sobre la parte de atrás de la tela bordada, luego corté con una tijera el borde. Coloqué el bordado dentro del plástico protector, luego la superficie de metal y luego doblé los bodes del plástico y ejerciendo presión coloqué la parte de atrás del botón de nuevo en su lugar.

I traced the circumference of the button on the back of the embroidered fabric with a pencil, then cut the edge with scissors. I placed the embroidery inside the protective plastic, then the metal surface and then I folded the edges of the plastic and applying pressure put the back of the button back in place.
