Saludos querida comunidad, hoy estoy muy feliz y satisfecha de haber finalizado con éxito una comisión muy importante, porque fue hecha por una hiver muy querida, se trata de @damarysvibra quien me contacto unos días atrás para pedirme que hiciera un amigurumi de Isadora Moon, un personaje que para entonces era totalmente desconocido para mí pero que con el paso de los días le he tomado mucho cariño.
Greetings dear community, today I am very happy and satisfied to have successfully completed a very important commission, because it was made by a very dear hiver, it is about @damarysvibra who contacted me a few days ago to ask me to make an Isadora Moon amigurumi, a character that was completely unknown to me at the time but that with the passing of the days I have become very fond of.
Isadora Moon según pude investigar en Internet es la protagonista de una serie de libros infantiles escritos por Harriet Muncaster, Isadora es una niña mitad Hada y mitad vampiro, además tiene a una hermana bebe, no me puedo ni imaginar sus aventuras siendo una niña con los poderes de ambas especies, las hadas y los vampiros, totalmente opuestos pero a la vez tan interesantes, me gusto mucho que todos las ilustraciones son con color rosado y negro, saber todos esos detalles me hizo caer en cuenta de la importancia de lograr la mayor similitud con el amigurumi.
Isadora Moon, as I was able to investigate on the Internet, is the protagonist of a series of children's books written by Harriet Muncaster, Isadora is a half-fairy and half-vampire girl, she also has a baby sister, I can't even imagine her adventures as a girl with the powers of both species, fairies and vampires, totally opposite but at the same time so interesting, I really liked that all the illustrations are pink and black, knowing all those details made me realize the importance of achieving the greatest similarity with the amigurumi.
Proceso/ Process
Tardé seis días en al elaboración de este amigurumi, comencé por los pies con hilo acrílico rosado y ganchillo de 1.25mm, luego por las piernas blanco y rosado, al tener la estructura de alambre, uní las piernas para formar el torso con solo hilo rosado, pero antes de comenzar la cintura hice la falda de la bata o pijama para unirla y continuar el torso hasta la altura de las axilas.
It took me six days to make this amigurumi, I started with the feet with pink acrylic yarn and 1.25mm crochet hook, then with the white and pink legs, having a wire structure, I joined the legs to form the torso with only pink yarn , but before starting the waist I made the skirt of the robe or pajamas to join it and continue the torso until the height of the armpits.
Hice las mano y luego el brazo, haciendo ambos ubiqué los brazos de cada lado, igualmente con sus respectivo alambre por dentro, para completar el torso y luego los hombros, el cuello y la cabeza.
I made the hands and then the arm, doing both I placed the arms on each side, also with their respective wires inside, to complete the torso and then the shoulders, neck and head.
Antes de cerrar la parte del torso había dejado una hebra de alambre para de este modo crear la estructura de las alas de murciélago o de vampiro de Isadora, este detalle fue muy importante porque debían mantener estabilidad, hice las orejas puntiagudas y los detalles del rostro, así como también el cabello al cual aplique solo un poco de calor con una plancha de cabello para obtener un acabado lacio. Las estrellas de la cabeza las hice como una diadema para que se puedan quitar y poner.
Before closing the torso part, I had left a strand of wire to create the structure of Isadora's bat or vampire wings, this detail was very important because they had to maintain stability, I made the pointed ears and the details of the face , as well as hair that you apply just a little bit of heat with a flat iron to get a straight finish. The stars on the head I made as a headband so that they can be removed and put on.

Creo que me he convertido en una nueva admiradora del personaje Isadora Moon, su aspecto en general me encanta y más aún sabiendo que es la protagonista de historias infantiles, es algo que no es tan común en estos días donde los niños en general consumen otro tipo de contenido, me gusta la estética de la ilustración y por eso estoy feliz de haber logrado la apariencia en este amigurumi. I think I have become a new admirer of the character Isadora Moon, I love her appearance in general and even more knowing that she is the protagonist of children's stories, it is something that is not so common these days where children in general consume another type of content, I like the aesthetics of the illustration and that's why I'm happy to have achieved the appearance in this amigurumi.
