Needlework: CAL - Crochet Along : Clam Top

Hello everybody,

How are you all, specially needleworkers, what makes you busy?

Mine, this Clam Top. This is not included in my what to crochet list. My last born messaged me and invited we can have our own crochet along. She presented me the project, Clam Top.

Hmm, I find it as a quick project to make and started small version the size for my granddaughter, Alexie. I plan to make for my own, still haltered but not backless. Am looking for the right materials. It should be cotton, acrylics is too hot for me.

But, before I continue I searched who is the designer, ahh. It is Kaye Estefanio her fb page is Yarns amd Fins,She posted the pattern in her Etsy page. Here is her YouTube Tutorial for this Clam Top.

Crochetiful, quick to make, less yarn and most of all, ahh, sexiness! Ahahaha. Good for mto's. If business minded you can make a dozen sizes for babies up to 9 yrs old. I can imagine babies are cutie with this clam top specially chubby ones. Am I right?

My progress: using polyester 8ply with 3mm hook.

My daughter finished her work hurriedly because she had a rush bikini made to order, see my cover photo.

While mine still a WIP, work - in -progress with my caregiver mode and front upper teeth ached.

Alexie, excited already she can wear this to the beach.

I should have posted this yesterday for #needleworkmonday but, oh, oh, my two front teeth ached much, I did not continue crocheting it really bothered me. I tried also last night before mid night drafting this post, I fell asleep. I was thankful when I open the phone early morning my draft still there.
