BEAUTIFUL HOMEMADE HAIRPIECE MADE FROM WRAPPER/FABRIC...

Hello to everyone on this platform. It’s so good to be here once again and to share with you my amazing work..
So I made this beautiful head piece for myself and I love it so much because its design with Africa/Nigerian Ankara fabric/material. This is totally simple and could be done within an hour or less, so to do this, you’ll need the following item;

A measuring tape
A pair of scissors
Ankara material [approximately half a yard or more] you can use any other material of your choice.
An elastic band and
A sewing machine.

Steps
Using the tape, measure and cut a portion of the material measuring 18inches in the length and 7inches long in the breadth. The smaller pieces will measure 11inches by 3inches and the elastic will be 6inches long.

After cutting the material you have to fold the material and then see it half of an inches. After sewing, you have to turn the piece and ensure that the seam is at the center.

You have to insert your elastic band into the smaller piece of the cloth then stitch at both ends,

next you grap your bigger piece then again fold into two and place the elastic band on it. Fold both side over the edged then sew.

Pass the other part of the bigger piece through the first, stretch to ensure all is set then stitch to the other end of the elastic band.

Trim off all excesses and tok-in the edges then pull it out slightly to have it all beautiful and hidden..
Boom! Your beautiful ankara headpiece is readilly waiting for you.
