La falda que hoy voy renovar es la primera falda que cosí en mi vida, fue mi primer proyecto de costura en clase por el 2017, esta falda tiene mucho valor sentimental, tuve muchos momentos con ella y a medida que mi talla se fue modificando lo que hice fue renovarla para poder seguir usándola, ese es mi nivel de amor con esta falda.
The skirt that I am going to renew today is the first skirt that I sewed in my life, it was my first sewing project in class in 2017, this skirt has a lot of sentimental value, I had many moments with it and as my size was modified what I I did was renew it so that I could continue using it, that is my level of love with this skirt.
Lo primero que hice fue quitar las costuras, en este caso no descosí nada, sino que corté muy pacientemente la costura que tenía, en este caso no era necesario hacer un aumento del talle, sino mantener el que tenía, la tela que use es un engomado, que es una tela sintética que no tiene gran duración en el tiempo, no es una tela que se deba lavar con agua por eso cuando se usa con otras telas su duración es bastante corta.

Medí la altura y el fin de la falda sobre un papel y tracé su costado a mano alzada, luego con una regla curva trace todo más prolijo, la pieza debía contener ambos costados ya que decidí también agregar un cierre.
I measured the height and the end of the skirt on a piece of paper and traced its side freehand, then with a curved ruler I made everything more neat, the piece had to contain both sides since I also decided to add a closure.
Una vez que la pieza del papel estaba cortada la dibuje de nuevo en tela del lado de revés y la corte, y ya estaba lista para coserla a mi falda, acomode los costados, acomode el cierre y cosí todo y listo, mi falda negra esta lista para más momentos y aventuras juntas.
Once the piece of paper was cut I drew it again on the wrong side and cut it, and I was ready to sew it to my skirt, arrange the sides, adjust the closure and sew everything and voila, my black skirt is ready for more moments and adventures together.
