Elaboration Of A Mini Electric Helicopter with simple and recyclable materials

Planes and helicopters rarely pass where I live, when this happens, the neighborhood children jump for joy and greet with the illusion that the aircraft crew is giving them a signal.

It was 10 am on the day when a helicopter passed 300 meters above sea level, enough to be noticed. Many children including a nephew, taking advantage of the weekend of flexibility, began to play simulating the sound of helicopters. This made me laugh and I decided to make them one, although I felt a bit incapacitated, anyway, trying was not too much.

Rara vez por donde vivo pasan aviones y helicópteros, cuando ésto sucede, los niños del vecindario saltan de alegría y saludan con la ilusión de que la tripulación de la aeronave les haga una señal.

Eran las 10 am del día cuando pasó un helicóptero a unos 300 metros de altura, suficiente para hacerse notar. Muchos niños incluyendo un sobrino, aprovechando el fin de semana de flexibilidad, comenzaron a jugar simulando el sonido de los helicópteros. Ésto me causó risa y decidí hacerles uno, aunque me sentí un poco incapacitado, de todos modos, intentarlo no estaba demás.

At home I had some dried totumos, one of them simulates the central body of the helicopter well. So, I decided to look for other materials to give the shape of the aircraft:

Wooden pallets
Plastic cupcake container
Wooden rods
Mini motor
Electric push button
Rechargeable batteries
Silicone gun.

En casa tenía unos totumos seco, uno de ellos simula bien el cuerpo central del helicóptero. Así que, decidí buscar otros materiales para dar la forma de la aeronave:

Paletas de madera
Envase plástico de cupcake
Varillas de madera
Mini motor
Pulsador eléctrico
Baterías recargables
Pistola de silicon.

As you can see below, I made this design with the purpose that children can assemble and disassemble it, and so that they also know about small electrical circuits.

Como podrá observar acontinuación, éste diseño lo hice con la finalidad que los niños puedan armarlo y desarmarlo, y para que también conozcan sobre los pequeños circuitos eléctricos.

From an old Nintendo I got a perfect button to turn on the helicopter propellers.

De un Nintendo antiguo conseguí un pulsador perfecto para encender las hélices del helicóptero.

Now my nephew is happy with his new toy, I have a feeling that tomorrow when I show this simple design to the other children, they will put me to work, XD

Ahora mi sobrino está feliz con su nuevo juguete, tengo el presentimiento que mañana cuando les muestre éste simple diseño a los demás niños, ellos me pondrán a trabajar, XD
