Hello Friends at Hive... nice to greet you again, especially the community that created @Build-It.

I'm going to tell you the story of how and why this traffic light is created....

My son loves cars and trains, he loves to play with them all day long. Recently he has discovered a cartoon on youtube called "titipo", a little train that lives great adventures; in this cartoon, there are many trains, traffic lights, stops, animals, etc. and he wants mom to do everything for him, yes, he really wants them all... He told me for several days, many times a day, that he wanted one and after so much intensity (hehehe) I decided to make this little traffic light for him to have fun while I advance in the other creations.

My son, who is five years old, is learning to play symbolic games, (a very important activity for children with Autism) this creation has helped him in that activity and as a mom I am very proud that step by step he is achieving great things.

• Reused cardboard box
• Toilet paper rolls
• Colored Foamis: red, yellow, green, black and blue. Yellow, green, black and blue
• Cold Silicone
• Hot Silicone
• Pencil
• Ruler
• Scissors
• Cutter
• Black and white cold paint (for details)

1. Cut the recycled box cardboard into 4 pieces as follows:
   • rectangle of 30.0 x 5.5 cm (12.5 x 2.5 in.)
   • 15.0 x 5.5 cm rectangle
   • 2 squares of 7.0 x 5.5 cm (two equal pieces).
2. Line these pieces with the navy blue foami, using hot silicone.
3. Cut the cardboard rolls to the desired width and glue black foami to them.
4. Cut the red, yellow and green circles, the width of the cardboard circle, already with the black foami glued.
5. With the blue foami make tabs on each circle.
6. Glue with hot silicone the circles of lights to the large rectangular base.
7. This large rectangular base, glue it right in the middle to the small rectangular base, using hot silicone and then glue the squares perpendicularly to serve as support to the large base.
8. Apply black paint details on the base and white paint on each colored circle to brighten up the design.
9. Ready! Enjoy the magic of what you have created.
