Hi everyone, how is weather where you live? There is so much rain today and after the rain stopped it is so hot. I live in Suriname two years already but this year is so much rain, more than last year. The landlord said Suriname never rains like this before.

Rain is good but too much rain is not good for growing vegetables, and it’s not good for me to find insects too. But I have some photos of a greenhead fly, a polybia, and I saw a grasshopper this morning.

I learned the name of it in google photos, it is greenhead horse fly or greenhead fly.

This is the first time I saw a polybia in the banana flowers, and after that I saw this insect fly and stop over there too.

It’s bigger than a normal fly.

I usually see polybias everywhere there are flowers.

This morning I walked around the banana garden to find insects. There I saw the cassava plants had some kind of small things on their leaves.

I wonder what is that, then I sit down for looking it after I saw this grasshopper in leaves. If I do not sit down I don’t see it too it’s very similar with green leaves.

I thought by myself it’s a grasshopper, but it’s named sickle-bearing bush-cricket. Have a great weekend 😊.

This is beautiful photography.
I love seeing this picture of my brother.

Thank you brother I appreciate you like them. Sorry I just have a wonder, why you called me “brother”?. !ENGAGE 10

I'm sorry, if that's wrong.
Because I consider all here brothers in this Online world.
If it's wrong, I won't do it again.

No, sorry brother, I don't mean that, I just have wonder because I am a woman but you called me brother, like me a man. In my country also love calling everyone brother and sister.

I call my sister as a girl.
Not a man.
Our language here calls a woman who is older than herself, called brother ( Kakak ).
I'm sorry, maybe my translation is wrong.

Oh it’s okay I don’t care about that, my country we called older sister is bong srey, is mean sister and we called older brother is bong bros, is mean brother. My English is not good and I don’t know more words but when I don’t understand some words I always asked my husband. Have a nice day 😊

Yes.
I understand sis.
I hope your sis is okay there too.
