Barking Spider - Splinterlands Monster Review with a Battle.

Hey guyz,

Um back people with another blog post in HIVE.

This time I'm going to showcase one of my battle using Barking Spider in splinterlands social media challenge.

Barking Spider is an earth monster that's of reward edition.
This monster has ranged attack for which this monster can't attack from the first position unless the battle has some special rules and it has a special ability in the 6^th level that's called blind for what all enemy melee & ranged attacks have an increased chance of missing their target.

Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!

For this challenge, you'll need to showcase a battle talking about the monsters that you use in the battle, about the battle or you may make any post that's related to splinterlands like you can draw something for splinterlands, you can review something of splinterlands etc.

The entry post should be shared on any social media and I'll use my twitter handle for that.

There should be a #splinterlands tag.
Then you should leave your post link and your social media link where you shared it as a comment in the official challenge post of @splinterlands.

Buying procedure of Barking Spider card(s):

• First, you need to go to the market and then you'll need to find the card or you can go directly from this link.
• Then you'll need to find the best suitable cards for you.
  You can buy high-level cards or you can buy level 1 single cards and then you can combine them and you can upgrade the level.

Battling procedure with Barking Spider:
As you'll need to battle with Barking Spider so you'll be able to play the battle using earth splinter as Barking Spider is an earthmonster.

From the battle page, you need to click on the ranked battle button and you should wait for a little time.

This takes a little time to find a worthy opponent.
It might take a little longer sometimes and sometimes as it seems.

Then you'll see that you have an enemy waiting for you on the other side.

You can see everything about the battle here such as-
Rules of the battle, mana cap of the battle, splinters that can be used in the battle, the countdown time and you can check on your opponent too from here.

Click on the Make Team button.
Then you'll find a page with all your splinters that can be used in the battle.

As I need to play this battle with earth splinter to showcase the battle of Barking Spider as that's an earth monster, I chose Lyanna natura which is my earth splinters summoner.

Then after I selected Nectar queen as front monster, then I chose Furious chicken and then the Barking spider.

Nectar Queen:

Nectar Queen is a common earth monster that I've in level 1.

I used Nectar Queen at the front position as it's a melee attacker with big powers such as 4 melee attack, 2 speed,10 Health in level 1.
It's an 9 mana monster.

Furious Chicken:

Furious Chicken is a rare neutral monster that I have in level 1.

I used Furious Chicken in that position as a bait so that it can get hits from enemies when other cards can do their things.
Besides I couldn't do anything better but using a monster with 0 mana as the mana cap of the battle was so low.

It has 1 speed, 1 Health in level 1.
It's a 0 mana monster.

BARKING SPIDER:

BARKING SPIDER is a common earth monster that I've in level 1.

I used BARKING SPIDER at that front position as it is a ranged monster that can'g attack from the front position so I kept it away from that position and it has nice powers such as 1 ranged attack, 2 speed, 5 Health in level 1.
It's an 4 mana monster.

In the battlefield:

Link to the battle.

First Serpentine spy of enemy monster team attacked and killed Furious chicken of friendly monster team and then Barking spider and Nectar queen of of the friendly monster team attacked and killed Giant roc of enemy monster team.

Then after a monster of enemy monster team attacked and killed half the life of Barking spider of the friendly monster team, both the monsters of the friendly monster team attacked and killed another monster of the enemy monster team. The monsters of the enemy monster team got extra attack power for their summoners power and the enemy monster team was clever to use melee attacking monsters the most with Malric inferno summoner which summoner gives extra melee attack option. Serpentine spy of the enemy monster team attacked on Nectar queen of the friendly monster team but as that monster of friendly monster team had a big life so nothing big happened to it. Then Barking spider of the friendly monster team attacked and killed Serpentine spy of enemy monster team.

Then there was only one monster in the enemy monster team and it was attacking turn of Nectar queen of the friendly monster team with a big melee attack. So it attacked and killed the last monster of enemy monster team.

The battle ended in round 3 and Nectar queen of the friendly monster team killed the last monster of the enemy monster team and there came victory.

Opinion about Barking Spider
I haven't got the chance to use it with a higher level but I'm satisfied with it for what it has done in the lowest level with a big health and promising ranged attack. I hope it can be better in high level.
